400w Closet SCROG~ Nice Strains

I tied down The ultimate in addition to Cinderella and Brainstorm.. Not sure if this was the best method for an eventual SCROG but I feel that I need more "pre-flowers" or "nodes" exposed to the surface inorder to fill my screen up and pull this thing off. I figure I will tie them down until I am done vegging.. and in a couple weeks when I put the screen up I will switch to flower and start weaving through.

My plan is to put the screen about 10"-12" inches aboves the buckets.. keeping it about 2.5'x3'

Any yield predictions? I spoke to someone at a grow shop and they said up to a h/p.. I always like to assume light and hope for heavy, so I said q/p

just wondering when everyone thinks I should make the scrog screen.. I dont see these girls getting too huge by the time I flower in 2 weeks. I tied everyone down but Widow just to create more budsites but it obviously keeps the plants lower.. basically further from the screen which makes me believe that i wont be able to fill the whole canopy. I know they "nearly double" in flower i just dont know when to make the screen or start weaving parts under! PLEASE help

I raised the light a few inches just kinda trying to get them to stretch a little more.. it also opens up my light footprint a decent amount.

dang ive been folowing your grow for awhile now lol and its looking great, yeah im growing a white widow now and i know what you mean by all the bud sites! check out my journal and youll see lol i love your setup though. fa show!

Im just now realizing that I noticed abnormalities with Vanilla kush from week 1. This must be a genetic problem, or mutated plant. I always have one ugly duckling, never fails. I dont think its anything im doing or any issues with my setup, which is a relief. Considering the good health of the other plants this is making more sense.

think it might be possible to flush it as a precaution? cuz vanilla kush is such a great strain lol. maybe the vanilla just reacts differently from other strains (heard through the grape vine)

i did flush, and im no longer using nutes on her.. shes just always been stunted from the beginning.

i didnt start feeding until the third week and she was looking funky before that

Im only going to scrog these four and plan on flowering Vanilla Kush normally because her size.

The screen will be the size of all four buckets together like that and possibly slightly parobolic just incase I get luckier than expected

let me know what you predict I can yield with my 400hps when I switch to flower in two weeks?

haha unfortunately im looking for a bit more than a couple days of smoke..

I want between a qp and hp, anywhere in there and I would be extremely happy. So thats an oz per lady.. I wont even include Vanilla kush in my estimation she'll just be considered an added bonus. Squeezing 2oz's per girl seems a bit unrealistic, most are considered high yielders, but that might not mean much with a 400w..

More opinons would be hugely appreciated. Actual weights please.. haha

Im guesiing you can pull 4oz from your 400 maybe a bit more due to scrogging

alright, thanks bud.. I just needed an opinion. I'm making my screen lower due to my short veg time and indica strains. Its gunna be 8" above the buckets, so hopefully they spread across the screen quicker.

as of right now theres about 20 strong visible budsites on each lady as the growth continues.. so if they really do double in flower.. and I get atleast a gram per budsite. Im potentially looking at closer to a 6-7oz.
