4000W grow lights worth purchasing?

I think we need to lift your level of leducation a notch, you have a tent and then an open area. In order

• Tent is good just needs a better light
• The open area, fix it so the frame is more rigid to sustain weight of lights and completely cover with Mylar reflective material, reflectivity is key to getting higher PPFD even with poor lights
• dont look for lights on amazon, while the range is huge it is more likely to confuse you than help make a decision
• what is your budget, in general you would expect to be in 80c-$1.00 per PPFD for a completed light ie $1000 for a 1000ppfd for a 4x4 as a guide
• only consider solutions that offer 2.5umoles/j eff or greater

• no one here really is a big fan of Burple lights, stick with varieties of white light only with some attention to adding deep reds far reds and UVA

I have spent close to a thousand on grow lights, I have an extra two that I haven't started using yet that are more expensive:



Please bear in mind this is our first attempt, so it is intentionally being setup so that we steadily increase the plants in there as we become more confident keeping the older ones alive. I only tried cloning last week, and if the results are successful I hope to clone a few of the other strains, that's when I expect to setup more lights.

np. I should have mentioned that (with the lights running at 480 watts in flower - combined output) I always pull over 520 grams from the 1m2 tent (with 4 plants in 12lt square pots, soil medium, chemical nutes/Shogun Bloom). And, 4-6 weeks veg before 12/12 flip.
