What kind of air temps are you pulling in from your inlet? If your inlet air is as warm as the air you are exhausting it will never cool. I use a single fan to exhaust outside of the room and have a passive intake that pulls cool air into the room from outside when my exhaust fan kicks on. I use 2 circulating fans for an entire room that is approx 8'x10'. This is with 2 1000W HPS lights running & my temps never go above 76*F. I understand you are in a tent but the same principles apply for cooling and good air exchange.

I have an a/c in my room which my tent is in. My a/c is at 65 degrees. And my room temp is around 71-73. But i am exhausting straight into my closet that my tent is next to.

if the hot exhaust air is getting mixed with the cool room air that your tent takes in, your making your a/c work harder than it needs to. If you have the option to exhaust the hot air from the tent outside that would be ideal for sure. Id recommend using a scrubber on the exhaust to the outside though if you arent already using one. Dont think you want everyone smellin the dank. :joint:

I am going to open up my window and board it up with plywood, then cut around a 5 1/2 hole for my 6 inch ducting.

What do you think about exhausting outside?
Growers have said not to exhaust outdoor but what if my temp outside is the same temp as in my tent? will that make a heat signature?

Outdoor temp during the day is around 86-87 degrees.

My temp in my tent is around 82 degrees.

My lights turn off at 9pm

Outdoor temp when its night is around 80 degress after 9pm. And drops to 70s after 12am

How high will temps jump if i upgrade to a 600 watt hps?
And cost of electric bill. How much more do you pay with a 600 or is it both around the same value?

Can you change up your light cycle and have the lights come on at night when its cooler and off when its hot outside during the day? If you can vent it outdoors in a way that nobody will know, I would do that. I really cant speak on heat signatures or anything like that, but I personally dont worry about heat signatures or anything like that. My worry is to make sure I have any air that may smell of cannabis run through a carbon filter so nobody can smell it. There would be a slight consumption difference on your power bill if you go from 400W to a 600 W and there will be a considerable heat difference as well. If you are battling heat issues, I surely wouldnt upgrade lights until I resolve the heat issues first and can maintain good solid temps on a regular basis.

Wont changing my light cycle affect the plants and possibly hermie?

I need to order a carbon filter before i vent outside then. Have any good ones in mind?

I wouldnt worry about any damage being done or it stressing the plant much at all for concern of hermie. Its already established and well into flower. If you still find yourself worried about stress and hermie issues you can let the light stay off for 24 hrs, then begin the "lights on at night" routine from there on. Then it will just be in the dark 12 hrs longer than normal. Again, its already well established and wont stress over not getting light vs getting light when its not supposed to. Thats the kinda stress that will induce hermies over time. Hope this makes sense...I just smoked bongsmilie

Plants look good by the way. I see you topped one of them. If you did a bit more topping on all of the plants and keep your lighting a bit closer your canopy would fill up considerably. Same amount of light but more yield makes for a higher gpw number.

Ahhh im really worried of my plants messing up after the time and money ive spent on them.
I know the rest of my plants are like my big girl buts because these arent the plants i wanted to grow big.
My 4 other plants i had that were big i had to cut due to being males. Fuckers lol
But yeah i didnt really do training or anything to the other plants

I just hung my thermostat at canopy level and my temps are 88 degrees. I cant vent outdoor because im waiting for the carbon filter and i cant vent outside the room because it'll make the rest of the house warm.

I have a question about my ppms.
If im following my feeding chart and after i add everything my ppms are 600-700. I need it around 1000, do i just add more tiger bloom and open sesame?

I dont suggest running what the nute manufacturer suggests. Its always more than you need because they are trying to sell product.
Feed what they need, not what you read.

Just didnt wanna run into any toxicity problems like my nitro prob.
I will add more tiger bloom and a little more open sesame since itll be the last dose of that.
