hey thanks ganja, im definitely keeping my eye on the SLH as well, shes growing fast and pretty good IMO, like i said i havent grown from seed in ages but it seems like the more leaves she gets the more she can absorb and the faster she grows so im stoked, i have not grown and SLH or pineapple hindu kush before but i can def. vouch for the PHK. i dont know if you read earlier in the thread but those seeds are NOT feminized, they are a 4 pack of regular seeeds that came from a plant in my friends backyard. he doesnt really know anything about growing so im sure the only reason it even gave off seeds in the first place is because of stress from him. out of 4 seedling im hoping for atleast 2 maybe 3 females.... and let me tell my friend, that fuckin plant was delicious, i cant wait... i might even clone her, it was like a medusa of hairs and crystals with such an aroma, youll see.... ill post some pics soon, they are still just seedlings so ill update when a lil size difference is noticed...

fuck it bro...i hope all 4 are females;-)...ive never grown seeds that came from a stressed female, but i think u may have to watch out for herm's a little closer with those seeds....because the plant that u got the seeds from was stressed into producing those seeds, and that characteristic is passed on thru your seeds...just something to keep an eye out for....
nice bike btw...i love riding to man... i got a cbr600..just sucks cause all my buddies i used to ride with, either moved, started families or sold their bikes

I wouldn't worry too much bro. That's the way they make fem seeds. Usually they have 2 different females but same concept. They use light stress, nute stress, ph, let the plant run longer than it should. Its all about keepn em stress free and I haven't ever seen any of ur plants stressin lol

i beg to differ bro....read this and study up....http://cannabisculture.com/articles/1332.html

this paragraph, specifically says what i told maz......

"Dutch Passion's feminizer testing program revealed that grow room factors can be manipulated to produce better female to male ratios. The female-inducing recipe, to be implemented during the first month of growth, involves providing: 1) more nitrogen, less potassium; 2) more halide (blue spectrum) and less high pressure sodium (red spectrum) lighting; 3) shorter light cycles; 4) a grow medium of 6.6 to 6.8 pH; 5) lower temperatures and higher humidity, plus higher soil moisture; 6) MINIMIZED STRESS (cloning and other stressors can destabilize plants, causing them to go male or hermaphrodite)."

and maz im not trying to bust your bubble at all bro..like i said, i hope there all girlies, just wanted to give u a heads up

UPDATE !!!

Not gonna keep track of vegging days anymore since i have 3 sets of plants and all are different ages, but just so u guys know... its like day 5 of PINEAPPLE HINDU KUSH seeds sprouting, day 10 or so of SUPER LEMON HAZE sprouting, day 5 of LA CHEESE and BLUE VENOM clones being purchased from clinic....

so as anyone already following this journal knows im a pretty happy camper all the time, growing or not, i consider myself pretty optimistic in life...and i dont wanna come off cocky but this is one of those nights where u take a bunch of pics, sit back , and think....my stupid little fucking cabinet is actually a pretty fuckin tight little set up...for anyone not following from the beginning everything in here is home made from venting to temp control to lights (ofcourse i bought the 400 watter) but theres no expensive fans or carbon filters or H2O shit, just me and some free time...anyways, enough tooting my own horn....the reason i say these things is because temps, humidity, and everything seems perfect IMO...

ok back to the grow/PICS...

the seedlings all kinda look the same to me so i can imagine its even harder to tell for you guys so i thought of ingenious, never before tried method of showing which plant is which,LOLOL...if u see 1(one) wire nut its PINEAPPLE HIND KUSH seedling #1, if u see 2....u get it...the plant with 0(zero) wire nuts in the cup is the SUPER LEMON HAZE...here goes...(i know the soil is too wet!!!, i just watered them via spray bottle, GET OFF ME!!!!)lol
HPIM1342.jpgHPIM1344.jpgHPIM1343.jpgHPIM1346.jpgHPIM1345.jpgHPIM1341.jpgHPIM1347.jpg

and here is the LA CHEESE, she is doing great and grows a certain way i really like, lanky but not too lanky...i dunno, i like the way all bud grows but this plant is very manageable...and ive read up on the strain and seen first hand that she is VERY hardy, high resistance to pests, heat and mold...the one single yellow leaf is from the clinic, its the leaf they cut the tips off to, i dunno, conserve energy???...everyone who has grown from clone knows this is normal (i just cut it off after i took the pics)HPIM1349.jpgHPIM1348.jpgHPIM1351.jpg

and here is the blue venom, she is doing great as well, i grew this strain 2 grows ago and the herb is really good and cheesy. she isnt AS resilient as the LA CHEESE but still a good strain, if u look close there is just 2 fan leaves on opposing sides of the plant that had some leaf curl, it never went away but no other leaves have it, must have been some overnight heat burn or something, i used a super low dosage of FLORA NOVA VEG nutes on the 2 clones last night and they seem to have really liked it...HPIM1352.jpgHPIM1350.jpg

so whaddya guys think???????HPIM1354.jpgHPIM1356.jpgHPIM1355.jpgHPIM1353.jpg

Great as always bro. Those clones absolutely overshadow the seedlings lol. I can definitely c why it would be hard to stray from them. Ups me a blue v plllleeeeaaasssseeee lol. That was an original idea with the wire nuts. They all look happy as hell tho and seem to be growing great as always

thanks for the nice words big nizzy, so your kinda my go-to guy on the seed scene, judging from last update to tonight...do the sprouts look OK?..be honest, are they slow , whats the deal?...i finally took the humidity bag off the SLH because she has more leaves and i figured that she can absorb more light and i kiiiinda feel that she grew faster with the bag OFF today...looking at her size u think its time to take the bag off for good?

hey maz whats up bro... thanks for the pic update, looking swell!! dont mean to interrupt just wanted to chime in. its probably time to toss the bag... it may not look like much goin on up top but i doubt they are growing slow. the roots should be growing very healthy...very soon the leaves should lengthen a bit then new growth should take off... the 5-point and 7-point leaf sets should blow upppp under your MH... you'll be spacing them out in no time. on the seeds i have going (8x Master Kush) i've got some fat stems and pretty tight node spacing... the stems of the Master Kush are like 3-4x thicker than the stems from the clones i picked up from the dispensary. ill post a pic...

you ever use any mycorhizae, bennies, or compost tea for your soil/plants?

cheers maz... looking good bro

hey maz, just wanted to drop some photos on your post here, hope you dont mind.

here are some shots of the stems of the Master Kush seeds I'm growin. i think you could expect results like this very soon on your seeds, theyre gonna soak up your light when their roots get goin...

shot of the Master Kush stalk
IMAG0192.jpg
its soooo big... thats what she said

comparison of Master Kush to stalk of LA Cheese nearby
IMAG0193.jpg

and my temps have been thru the roof... if i could have efficiently dialed in the temps to prevent a bit of stretch it would be ridiculous... next grow right ;)~

here is a comparison shot of my grow op from 7/20 to today 8/2, exactly 14 days.
IMAG0158.jpgIMAG0201.jpg

The seedlings in the first photo I'd say are about a week ahead of yours right now... which would make them about 3 weeks ahead of them on my most recent pic...

it will be good shit to see how they both turn out...
:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

oh and heres a shot of my white widow main cola from my last grow... first one is pre-chop, second is after drying...

cheers maz .. u gonna have those plants turnin tricks for u in no time muahahahhaa
