400 watt hps grow

Hi this is my second grow using x-line big bud - white widow feminised seed's.I am currently in my 4th week of veg under a 250w hps to start then im switching to a 400w hps for flowering.My grow space is going to be a bit tight but im going with it any way.I have 8x plants can any one tell me how much yield per plant i can expect?? and are my plants looking ok?? i have attached a photo with this post of my ladies wat do you guys think?? I used soil tomato miracle grow soil and the plants are booming for 4 weeks old on sunday from seedling.I have been using IONIC Neutrient solution pH 5.5-6.2.Seem to be doing realy well im hoping the 400w hps isnt going to be to hot in my grow closet.

Lookin good, I would go ahead and switch to the 400w now. I was using a 400w in a cab smaller than that and was battling heat all summer, but now it would be perfect. Remember, more lumens = more bud.

I'd guess at least an ounce per plant, probably more if you feed them right and let them go until they're ready (cloudy/amber trichs). They are crowded though, so just make sure you have a well sanitized area, otherwise bugs and mold can grow quite quickly under the canopy.

Thanks alot for the advice dude appreciate it.I switched to the 400 now 2 days ago when my lady's trichs come through i will post more photo's through out the grow.Wouldnt it be great if we could grow in like 2 weeks start to finish lol.

Just wanted to add that good things come in time. Usually the more time the better it is. Anyways, my opinion:
Just like purplehazin said, they do look alittle crowded, not at their current size, but once they start getting bigger and bushier they will fight upward for the light and that can actually stunt there growth. As they grow make sure you pull them away from one another enough so the leaves are not overlapping. You will need some ventilation to supply them fresh air and this will aslp prevent any mold.
I personally am a fan of vegging under MH(Metal Halide) lamps and then flowering under HPS, although i have been told you can do it, but when I tried it, my plants stretched a lot more then they did under MH. Just an idea. They do make a conversion MH bulb to run on a HPS Ballast FYI. But I will say they look really good and vibrant and good color. But I think you will notice a difference under MH. something to think about.

I make sure they have enough vent and fresh air.Im 5 days into flowering and i cant believe how big these babys are getting jeeees!!! stems are fat and these buggers are growing like no tomorrow lol.Im gonna take some more piccy's this evening and post them.I keep turning the pants and moving them around because of space but they seem to be doing fine for now yippeeee!!!!.I did a bit of pruning also a couple of days ago the plants dont seem to be to stressed just gonna leave them alone now and let nature take its course.Still no signs of little white hairs sprouting every ware yet.My last grow was 3 plants under 250w hps now im flowering under 400w hps what a massive difference --~~~

Yeah that 400 is a great light.I use one soon to be using two in my grow tent..I just need to get a inline fan and ill add the second one..Hoping to double my yield

Things are alot different this grow for me im 11 days into flowering and still no signs of white hairs popping out every ware.Although the tops of my plants where the nodes grow have little white hairs but im not sure if thats new leaves/nodes growing out??? When will they explode with buds any help would be cool?? Thanks

What?! Are you saying you got pinched? I hope all goes well for you. If you can, clarify what happened and how the police found out about your grow.

That's fuckin bullshit. The setup you have is under personal use guidelines in many states. I hate it when cops treat personal cultivators like members of a cartel.
