Hey all
Ive been wanting to upgrade to hps/hid lights from cfl's .i thought i had decided on a 250watt combo from HTG ..But their 400 setup was cheaper over their 250watt rig. To me that doesnt make any sense . So i checked fleebay and found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/281027774186?var=580160169934&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 cheaper than HTG magnetic 400watt setup .. i just ordered the fleebay one . hope its a good one??????

With that, brings me to ventilation question 3x3x6 tent .i wasnt planning on a cooled reflector and didnt order one . i did all the calculations and decided to go with this http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-A-GrowBright-4in-Inline-Fan-&-Carbon-Filter-Combo.asp

But im kinda doubtfulll if this will be enough for the 400watts added heat. Temp outside the tent say pretty consistant low 70's You guys think this is enough exaust (170cfm) / filtration?
thanks

those open reflectors get extremely hot. when i used them if i was in the tent for more than 5 min i started sweating and my tent was a little bigger (4x4x7). if you're gonna use the open reflector something over 300 cfm probably would work but even then you may still need a booster fan to bring in fresh air.
