400 watt DIY Tent AK-47 Soil

no objection here you cant change the name of the thread once you've named it. just have to roll with it. my thread is "my first 400 watt grow" or what ever it is lol. im set up perpetual grow now, and just staying with the thread.

right on, hell i hope i can get a perpetual going here in the next month or soo >.< would be really nice i want to set it up so im harvesting diff strain erry week lol, so its set then 3 days, and i did the calculations, my screen is roughly 570 in square, so with at the demensions my plants have filled only 330 square inches, and to reach 70% it needs to be at 403 square inches lol.... so i guess the girls only need to stretch about 1 more inch in circumforence and then the real show starts

i think you still weave the branches in the screan for the first week or two of flowering also, not sure. i would check some other scrog threads out. multi strain perpetual is allot of work. i have almost 10 strains going on right now. i have a 400 in my closet 42"x32"x85" on 12/12 and 2 veg boxes about 8 cubic feet each with 1-105 watt cfl in both. if i didnt write almost everything down i do i would be lost lol.

lol, yeaq im only going to be keeping 4 strains xD but imma upgrade and build another tent, i explained it a few posts back, gunna keep the 400 watter for my veg tent, and keep the little tent where the seedlings are just for clones and such i hope i dont get lost, but im like you i have to write everything down haha

sounds good. the best advice i can give you on going perpetual mutli strain is, start slow then work your plant count up. like last night i had to water/feed 4 plants. to water/feed the 4 plants i had to mix 3 different batches of nutes, because of plants being in different stages, and that was just the closet. not counting the veg boxes, or my coco trail run.

thanks for the advice D, im only going to have 12 plants at a time, untill next january when i can be a caregiver and get me some patients D but yea so the 4 strain thing shouldnt be a problem, im going to slwly grow the 4 diff strains and see how much they grow and how well i do with them before i decide to make them keepers so who knows X.x

ok well were getting close to the twelve twelve, im going to flush them tommorow so their all ready for some blooomin nutes lol, but they are fillin out nicely so hopefully it continues through the first week or two of flowering, will post pics tonight or tommorow, thanks alot for following along on this grow with me redrum my wife tries to act like shes interested but she doesnt perticular like it lol, she just kinda excepts it haha

well i light proofed the tent today, gunna keep them in darkness for 24 hours, then gunna flip the light for their first 12/12 at 7pm tommorow night so hopefully we get this going alright

ok so they were in the dark for the last 24 hours, turned the 400 watt hps on at like 7 gunna actually change that from 6:30 pm to 6:30 am, so tonight is the first day of flowering, i opened the tent earlier and they had grown bigggg, lol and were sticking threw all the holes like 2 inches above!!! lol, so i counted all the bud sites either at the screen or will reach them in flowering and their ar about 56 of them i think? gunna take clones tommorow hopefully but here are the cable bud porn pics

well thank you, i had to improvise my tent :/ it wasnt completly light tight, so i put some more panda film over the zippers, it wouldnt be a problem but i only get up early when my lights go off during the week, so its kind of a problem cuz i gotta cover the holes and such... lammmkmmmmmeeee but i took some clipings, i cant move where i wanted to for another couple months, so imma get a perpetual SOG going for the next couple months lol

well gave them the first shot of flowering strength nutes, and a small dose of liquid koolbloom, im very interested to see how this works i have heard great things so lets hope (crossing fingers)

im hoping for a pretty decent one lol, atleast 2 ounces dry would be nice, get my return cost back down to 0 so atleast i would even out ya know

well i dont get it i have two 4" inline duct fans one sucking air from right next to the light, and the other sucking air into the tent form the window, but it still gets up to 95 degrees in that bitch, two of my plants got some pretty bad burns, and the rest are so heat stressed i hope they will be ok, i figured it out if i just leave the tent open all night and have my big fan blowing on thm it drops the temps down into the seventies...i dont get it >.< i hope this little set back doesnt throw the whole thing outta wack, i gotta water or feed them today, does anybody else feed every waterin i never really understood how to do this, or how to use my liquid koolbloom like i read thew instructions on the bottle but does that mean i put it in with very feeding?

i feed what ever it says for that weeks feed in a watering then next just water. i had to many problems when i fed every watering. from what ive asked start using koolbloom 1/2 way threw flowering. hope that helps. how many cfm are the fans? have you tried running your lights at night instead of day?

well im using the liquid koolbloom iv eheard you can use it all the way till flower, then switch to koolbloom dry in the lat like 3 weeks before chop, and stop using and flush for 1 week before chop, and the cfm of the fans now that im looking are only 80! what a fucking crock, i shoulda spent the extra 3 bucks and bought the 6" its rated for 160 cfm, and Positve thanks but their already on 12/12 they were really starting to fill the screen out and i would hope that the first week or 2 of strecth in flowering would help with the last filling part, but they havent grown a bit since thise heat stress bullshit i hope they dont die -cries-
