400 or 600watt hps for 3x3x6.5 growtent

In y'all's opinion should I get a 400watt or 600watt hps for my 3x3x6.5 grow tent? Also it is a passive air intake tent/: 3 rectangle mesh holes t bottom. So can't intake air have to pull air out so air gets pulled in

I have a similar set up with 2 intakes and a 365 cfm exhaust fan. I run 400 for veg and 600hps for flower. My temps have been staying about 80 degrees when my temp outside the grow room is around 72. I noticed a huge difference in bud size/weight when I switched to the 600 from a 400hps

600. I did my first 5 or so grows with 300w HPS, and the difference with a 600 is UNREAL!! You'll kick yourself in the ass later if you don't just start with a 600. We all have urges to upgrade, so I'd start big from the beginning

get a switchable ballast....400-600 that way if you can't control heat with the 6 you can go down to a 4.....a 6 makes a huge difference in yield as stated.

go the 600, dont wory about intake fans, just get a 200mm exhaust and run it through a cool tube/hood

my tent operates the same way and I have a 400 watt in it. Its smaller than yours. 2'x3''5' and im putting a 600 watt in on monday with a cooltube and straight cold air running through the cooltube. I used a 400watt with a dome reflector in the exact same size tent as yours a few years ago with no air flow or anything in my basement and temps were perfect.. didnt have to do a thing. SO go with a 600, but ya get a dimmable just in case, its worth the extra $20 or what ever. With a 600watt cooltube in your tent you will be fine and wont regret it. Thats why I switched, more yield.. exactly what I did... just upgrade from the start. You could actually fit a 1000watt in there but you would need seperate ventilation for the cooltube like i am doing with my 600. But ya if u go with a 600 just do filter to cooltube to exhaust fan, you wont need intake.

I will defently do the 600watt now I'm having a problem with my diy carbon filter I did the steps by step one I the most popular ones. Now I got activated carbon PELETTS are u supposed to crush then or what bc I lit a piece of paper on fire in te tent just to make it smoke and see if the filet works and I can smell it going out the fan out of the tent/: so..
