hello pppl, this is my second attemt at scrog, my 1st was with a 250 hps. i have a tent 60cm x 60cm x 120cm. 400 hps, carbon filter and an rvk extraction fan. i know this a tight fit, but do you think it will be ok for heat? i think id prob get just about get 12 inches from top of the plants to the lights if they grew about 10 inches above the screen. this is my 1st time with a 400 watter. im hoping to yield maybe 10 ounce from 4 plants. is this ambitious? many thanks

get a inline fan or centrifugal fan
Much too close to the light. 12" from a 400 watter will fry the Mamas let alone the small fry. Do the back of the hand test. When it dont feel hot over a prolonged period they should be ok. Now maybe you have some magical super cooling device of which I am unfamiliar.

I have my plant which is like 4 inches from the top of my cool tube hps light.. No signs of burning... I guess I should lower mine down.. you can check it out itss my moonshine soil grow in my sig below.
Anyways the plant worked up to it, and I didnt raise the HPS perhaps it got use to the light, however the heat, well there really isnt none because its a cool tube and most of the heat goes to attic.

I am a newb so you tell me if this is burn of any sort. The edges of those leaves are purple btw. due to my temps at night being cool. Anyways if you have a cool tube that would really REALLY help. take alot of heat out of that grow tent making it possible. Whats even better is you can do autos with it if you wanted, there is someone who plants several small plants and yields are nice for the time it takes.
