4 wk update since I asked Q. Just trimmed 1st real bud <pic> Trichomes still clear

Four weeks ago today I showed a few picture's and asked what you guys thought about how much longer. Today is the 4th wk, and it looks great, but the trichomes are not milky yet. A few are and hopefully one more week, the 19th it will be ready bc Its already deer season here and the temp is about to drop. Heres a picture of a bud I cut this morning and trimmed. I cant believe my first plant was such a success, realizing I still have a lot of work ahead". And I couldn't have done it without reading you guys informative posts. Thanx & God Bless"

Good job! The hairs are pretty white and the trichs are a little shiny but it is getting cold so hopefully that will help mature the plant in this next week.

Post some harvest pictures when you do.

Agree with budbro, that bud looks under-done. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do. So here's hopin' the weather stays decent for another week

i can always tell by the flash in a picture. If theyre sparkling like diamonds theyre not done. If they look flat like frost on your lawn youre good to go. haha

Def could have waited a bit longer, but what can expect from a first grow? That's waaay better than a lot of first timers I've come across for sure.
Have you come up with a drying and curing process yet? I'm sure we'd all like to know and help you get the most of what you put your hard work into!
