4 Questions, do green/yellow seeds work?, does lolipopping really work? can you scrog? and top off?

Question 1, I have harvested my plant and found a green/yellow ish seed but my plant didn't hermie, been told by guys you get a seed or 2 and it's normal per plant, if I try germinate it you think it would work ever tried anything like this?
Question 2, Does lolipopping really work?, I know the whole purpose of doing it so the top of the branches getting bigger and juicier where bottom ones don't really give much, if I were to leave them do you think small ones eventually would be equivalent to big lollipop plants? so for example if a lolipopped plant gives 40g from 2 stems, a non lolipop might give same but in smaller quantities? anyone ever tried both, does it really make a difference?
Question 3, this time around I have honestly found no reason to top because 4/5 of my strains already shoot 3 tops, the whole point of lolipopping is to get 2 new tops, but when my top shoots out a little the 1 top on each side shoot anyway? so if I was to take top off rather than getting 3 branches I'm stuck with 2, which leads me to last question if I don't top off can I use the plants own branches/leaves to put weight and push down the taller branches so light gets to other ones? I mean I've done it but if it will cause problems then I'll put it back to normal, my main branch is now no longer my main as the other ones have gone thicker due to this.

Topping definitely works to get an even canopy. I top mainly because its a lot easier to top 100s of plants rather that lst them and tie them down, which probably works just as well. Just easier to top.

I lolipop to create air flow under the canopy as well. Also any buds under the canopy are going to be small and not dense if you have a full canopy. So I just get rid of them. Imo it definitely puts more energy to the top colas that is more worth it than the lower larfy crap

Every one of those questions is totally valid, in response to your first question yes you should! its possible that a banana was hanging of one of your females late in flower and it germed a bud a little bit, if thats the case then you have a femmed seed my friend! so yes def plant it and see what happens ( im sure you know that you should condition the seed a little before germing.

question 2: yes lollypopping def works. exactly how you were describing, lower popcorn buds arnt taking up any enery so that top bus that are closer to the light have more energy to use to make your some danky dank dank. Dude it tottally makes a difference I noted at least a 25% increase in yealds across the board with lollipopping.

** i disclamer, when i lollipop I always use a scrog net with it ( anything that doesnt make it up to the net after stretch has to go)

question 3: as you said if your genitics allow you may not even have to top much or even at all. Ive heard of people doing just LST ( with no topping with a scrog/lollipop while tieing the main cola down to the scrog. Why rely on the wieght of the buds to keep it down? unless you have been super cropping your buds could snap your stems! I really would think about wither tieing it down ith twine or using a scrog.

what is your setup btw?

First of all, I want to apologies about my grammar errors I sometimes cannot be bothered proof reading and want to relax lol. Second I want to thank you for your long detailed response. 3rd the reason why I can't scrog is because I don't have any scrogging equipment nor can I buy one because my tent is a little broken as when I ordered it the material some how seemed to be slightly tight and wrong size and tried various ways to set it up (sliding the bottom first, sliding the top first, building the frames first inside the material, it was just too small, eventually I managed to slide it on with 1 of the frames missing on the bottom and then squeezed the top on but ended up wth 4 ripped patches.

it's so bad that I can't even put the extra hangers because of the disproportional size (I did get a refund for plus got to keep the tent) so I didn't want to buy another one so I'm using this for now, managed to get my light fitted by hanging it with some hooks, so I can't add anything to it. + I haven't found anything useful at local DIY store as I'm growing multiple strains, hybrids, mostly sativa and mostly indica so I can't buy 1 net for all of them either.


My set up is 100 x 100 x 200 cm (2m height) 400w HPS and for fan I have 5" Rhino Single Speed Fan + Rhino Hobby Filter- Fan Speed 420 M3/H.
My strains are O.G kush, jack Herer, lady burn 1979, white widow and double berry.
