4 Plant DWC w/ Drippers HELP! PICS

I currently am growing 4 plants in a homebox tent, using CNS 17 Grow, Seaplex, and Humex. A few days ago i did my first res change, and tried my ppm at 550, the Ph was about 6.2 after adjustments. The next day when checking my plants I noticed browning along the edges and tips, pretty bad. I immediately lowered the PPM to 330, i did this by dilluting it with some Ph balanced RO water. The browning has now slowed down and hopefully will stop soon, i'm assuming nute burn? The link to my setup with pics is here...

I also noticed a small amount of algae on the hydrton and i believe that's just due to my drippers being on 24/7, i plan to switch them to only be on for 30 min at a time 5 min a day. I had them on 24/7 to promote quick root growth in my clones for the first few weeks until the roots get in the water. I read that i can use hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the algae.

Yeah you definately got a solid case of nute burn bro. Couple of suggestions for you...

First off, kill the drippers as soon as possible. keeping the top of your medium wet with a DWC is pretty much an open invitation to algae. Especially if a light source is shining on it. You also want to make sure that the light is not making contact with the water in your resevoir as it will promote algae growth as well. Unfortunately, I learned this the hard way too. If possible, empty out the res and clean it thoroughly with hot soapy water and make sure to rinse it very well afterwards.

Walmart has a product called Algae Destroyer Advanced. You can find it in the aquarium section for $5-8 (cant remember). It will solve your problem pretty quick. Takes about a week. You will have to make sure that you pour the water with the algaecide through your medium as well to get to the existing algae there. The only thing you have to watch for is this product will raise your Ph so make sure to test and adjust afterwards.

Also, from my experience, you will get better root growth in a DWC if you raise the water level so that the bottom 1/3 or 1/2 of your pot is submerged in the water. This encourages the roots to grow downward and will accelerate root developement as the water level drops and the roots begin to stretch toward the water source. Once you have a good root system, maintain the water level at about a 1/4" below the bottom of your net pot. This allows plenty of oxygen to reach the roots.

THE FACTORY RECOMMENDATIONS ON LABEL IS WHEN YOU USE 1000 WATT HPS OR EQUALL TO IT.IF YOU ARE USING LESS LIGHT THEN 330 SEEMS bETTER THAN 550. HOW IS TEMP AND HUMIDITY AND VENTILATION IN YOUR GROW ROOM?
