4 lights, 11 plants and an auto. Hydro.

Why an auto. You gonna grow the auto on 12/12 in flower. I wouldn’t have waisted the seed in that grow. Nice room by the way. Nice set up. I would have used some tables to get that up off that nice carpet. Your wife gonna kick your ass if you end up messing it up. Would also switch over to new led as well
You can get the same DLI at 12 hours as 18 hours anyway by running higher intensity. it's not really about how long the lights run for, but how much photons accumulate over a 24 hour period.

Plants still happy. Res change today with full strength bloom. 225ml bloom, 190ml micro, 150ml grow, 25ml AN PH down for 55gal. Might add another 25ml bloom after the first feeding so I get an accurate ppm reading after it mixes with the solution left in all the pots.
Have been consistently adding about 1/3tbs ph down once every day or two to lower the ph from 5.8 back to 5.6 - 5.7

Mini split finally done and working. It's keeping the room dry and working in sync with the fan cooling my hoods. The room is between 71 and 73.
Temp probe at the top of the canopy under the light to control the hood fans so I don't get too much heat at the top of the plants.

I'm an idiot, and your setup is awesome!

I'm I missing something or is there no air stones in the buckets?

Sorry I did say I was an idiot.
Thanks!
Nope, not missing anything. No air stones in the buckets and no more air stones in the main 55gal reservoir either.
The water gets changed every 6 days and it gets aerated like a waterfall twice every 3 hours. Once when it transfers from the 55gal drum to the control bucket then again when the system drains from the control bucket back to the 55gal res.
I adjust the ph every day or two and top off the system every 3 days with about 10 gallons of fresh water and nutrients using a paint mixer that creates a vortex adding a lot of air.
I tried running airstones in the 55gal res and I didn't notice any improvement. less parts to clean and maintain.20220225_224057.jpg

Looking great. I've always wanted to try DWC but I keep chickening out. I can't wait to see your buds form, I bet they get massive. Great job.
Probably wont be that big, only using 600w bulbs, decided not to switch to 1000w for flower.
This ebb and flow system is super simple. I am pretty lazy and wouldn't run this system if it were very involved. Most days I don't do anything besides add 1/3tbs ph down. Every 6 days I change the res but that's it. I only use GH 3 part nutrients, nothing else. This is my second time building this system.

Jealous! Just curious, what's the point with such a large netpot and hydroton volume with cannabis in hydro? I've found that it's unnecessary to go over 3-5"

Because that's what the local store had in stock. Used 1 3/4 bags hydroton for the whole set up. I'm sure smaller nets would be fine but this was cheap, in stock and fit the 5 gal buckets. A lot of my equipment was free or discounted/on sale parts. I've spent just under $2000 on everything including the mini split AC

Holy shit! I've been sitting on the same bag of hydroton for 2 years and I have about 3/4 left.

I use an old rice cooker with a steamer basket for cloning, lol. That uses like 4 netpots worth of hydro.
