The point is that the plant is done when it's done and just because you harvest early and get high off of it doesn't do the plant or the breeders who engineered the strain any justice. The "high" is not determined by when you harvest, it's determined by genetics and if you harvest early then you fuck up all the hard work the breeder expended manipulating his strain because you wont experience the crop in the way it was intended to be consumed.
