4,000 Watt Grow Question

Hey dudes,

I have a quick question if you don't mind. So, I've finally got my 4,000 watt air cooled setup ready to go. Took forever to get a mini split installed because a portable was not the business in a sealed room. My question is, While I was finishing up the room and installing the AC, I've had 23 girls flowering under T5's. The bloom bulbs are brand new and they've been flowering for 5 weeks now. They have some nice buds and I need to put them in the 4,000 watt room now.

My question is: Do you think I should dim my digital ballasts down so I'm running 2400 watts or run the full 4000 watts for another 3-4 weeks. Will it make a difference since they've been flowering for a while? I just don't want to waste unnecessary electricity. After these I will be funning the 4k. Thanks in advance.

If you've had them under T5s and put them under 4k watts of HPS they might wilt pretty hard, you might dim it down just to let them acclimate to the new intensity, and then incrementally crank that shit up! I wish I could run 4k watts. Damn.

Hell yeah I'm going to get my mini-split installed this week. Once I do I have 350 sq ft and 7200w at my disposal for my bloom room if I wanted to run it all I could!! I will probably just flower 3 with 6*600s. How many BTUs is your ms?

I would dim them and turn it up one setting every two days.

Niice! Mine is a 24,000 BTU. Those things are not as easy to install as the YouTube videos say haha.

Thanks for the replies! I'll dim them for now they crank it! I have all plants in 10 gallon geo pots organic FFOF. I'm wondering what my other yields will be like. We are running a delivery service in CA. My buddy runs 4k hydro and pulls 7lbs.

you know I take my clones straight from a very weak led and throw them under a 1k and I have never seen anything but them blowing right up personally

How many do you put under that 1k?
