Hello everybody, getting this thread started before my 1st harvest under this light. I'm using two (5.886") x 21" heatsinks, 2 cobs each, ran by a single hlg185hc1400a mean well driver. This was the making of the setup

@PSUAGRO. Thanks, I do need to do that. Planning on adding active cooling fans but for now it helps running temp by being right next to the 6" ventech exhaust. I use a fan speed controller with it. I will add a clip on 6" circulation fan soon for the plants.20160419_195737.jpg

I have 2 cxb3590 3500k leds but they are only pushing 86 watts together from the wall is that right I'm using mean well Hlg185h-c1400b

IMG_20160426_111753.jpg Doing some maintenance today.. Added 6” clip on circulation fan, and closed bottom passive intakes to fight off the dust, would hate to have my work ruined by filthy dust!! So I opened the opposite hole at the top left of the tent (6" wide) and it pulls cool air over the top of the heatsink, only to be immediately extracted by the 6" exhaust fan. I will break this into 3 parts for yous,

So you need 4 Cree cxb3590 (chip holders included) = $225. Next you need two 21" long heatsinks = about $75. Next you need a hlg 185 1400 driver to power them = under $70. That's a total of $375 and I did not include the aluminum L angle 12" or any accessories.

How can you stand having those wires visible everywhere? Drives me nuts!!!

Good point lol, I will rearrange the circulation fan where the cord is not in the area. The reason the fan is located there is because its easy to adjust. But I can't do anything about the cob wires lol. Any suggestions on how to fix that?

The cob wires are what I'm talking about. Didn't even notice the fan :/ but ya you just drill 2 holes like an inch, give or take, away from the chip lok plastic holder pieces and bring them up into the fin channels of your heatsink bro

Worried about this blue dream haze being too tall and slow for my tent. So I'm thinking about tossing it out, for space conservation purposes. And running strains that don't get this tall lol. Would you guys keep or toss it out? I can replace it with a ready to flower Neville's haze. Anyways here are the pics from today. 20160503_182124.jpg 20160503_182155.jpg
