your plants are looking fucking terrific man. one little tip and i know i'm coming in late to the party, but ,... if you can get the lights on top of those girls i think you could lower em at least an inch if it's not too hot. I kept mine literally on top of my plants with no burn. But either way ...those plants look fucking terrific!!! rep man. I love t5s

Most definitely.... :) I am a little concerned though. still not stinky, and I have a feeling these buds aren't going to get very big. With your experience with using T-5, what do you expect for yield in my case?

Actually, this is my first T-5 grow too, I usually run MH/HPS and only used T-5's to start my plants, but I got bored one day and decided to see if I could get good results from them. I went through last night and checked, everything is about 3 - 10 days from finishing so I'll be harvesting soon. I hope to get a QP from my system with 8 plants, and future grows will probably have 10 since I can fit them in. Plus next run I won't grow anything that is leggy and stalky, or if I do, I have an idea for how to change one of those types into a spike, so I'l see how that goes...

Don't be concerned yet, as long as the flowers are growing and getting frosty, the smell will come. If you have a carbon filter going it may be doing too good of a job, I shut down my filters to clean them and my room STANK!!!!! I had no idea how good the filters were working.

Oh also, you're plans should start bulking up soon. You're right at the beginning of that stage. Be sure to keep an eye open for deficiencies. And maybe step up your bloom booster a little more now.

Well I'm not running ANY filters, so I guess I'm in for a good smell soon hopefully...
Look up "raiz t5" on google... an amazing t5 grow... Have you seen it? How are you getting 8 plants under that light? My 4 have outgrown the sPace under my light... Next time I'm only going to do 2.... MAYBE 3..

not trying to hijack your thread brother.. figured since we're on the subject of t5s i need some opinions ... I have MONSTERS 2 ft tall bushes in 4 gallon pots vegging under 4ft 5 bulb t5's .... anyone think i can get a decent yield out of em?? with supplemental cfls underneath? any opinions are rep.
by the way i fucking love shots you have of LA beginning flower under that fixture

Well, you seem to have a lot of stretch, and I had almost none. I am trying to figure out why. I think it's either because I am using organic nutrients in good soil so the plants were not hurting for food, or because I left a 6500k bulb in the middle, so the plants were not so shocked and didn't try to stretch. If i was running all the same strain, I might attribute it to genetics, but there was like 6 strains in there. And I measured my pots, they're only 1.5 gallons, so my plants are stockier than yours. I wonder if the additional root zone was actually a bad thing?

Also, I am running about 10* cooler, 55-65. If you look at my plants you see I have bud development right to the base. I gotta figure out why they didn't stretch. :wall:

How far down from the top are you getting good development?

i dunno man, i vegged mine to 10 inches, and they are 26 inches now after the stretch. in 2 gal pots. if you want to flower with T5 you have to keep them under 2 feet in my opinion. it seems like im pushing the limit with these plants. as far as the yield, im still unsure myself.

im also running organic nutes in good soil. my guess would be leaving that 6500k bulb in, and also consider that for the last week i had the lights on 24/0 and had them about 2 feet above the tops when i switched 12/12 with the new bulbs. maybe that had something to do with my huge stretch.

i have 10-12 inches from the tops down where all my bud sites are nice and frosty. anything below that looks premature

Yeah, that's what I was seeing, you get about 10-12" of light, so if you can keep them under 13 inches you're good. Well see next run.
