my girls were looking a bit peaked when i got home this morning from a business trip. they are getting crowded and they looked to be in need of some nutes so since i have been flushing the felt pots pretty good, i dosed them up with gobox bloom and cha ching and snow storm ultra. i gave them about 1/3 the recommendation. i also removed some fan leaves that has yellowed and i used some screens i used in my last grow to even out the canopy. i am seeing some cloudy trichs now. no ambers. i am rolling up on 11 weeks in flower so i am sure i have a month or more left but the canopy was starting to choke out the lower growth. i am frickin' sticky like candy from manipulating the girls. can't wait for the harvest. smelling awesome! i will post some pics soon...

my son forgot to water the girls the other day and they were looking pretty stressed when i looked in on them. gave them a good watering with a bit of molasses. used my loupe on them and one is getting cloudy and amber trichs. i think she is going to be done in another week or two. the other is going to continue for a bit. i am having a problem now with heat. i can't use an air conditioner because basement windows don't accept a window unit. i am trying wrapping a towel with most of it submerged in a pot of water around the intake duct hoping evaporation will help. the tent was at 86 deg the other day when i opened the tent. these poor girls have had quite the shitty environment to be brought up in. i am out of town but am planning on rigging up some ducting to exhaust out the basement window when i get home...

harvested one plant at 12 weeks as it had something weird going on and it leaves were all getting brown and drying up. one is still going.

i got about 100 grams out of the plant i harvested. it is in jars now in the high 60's for rh so i am slowly getting to the cure one. the second plant is still foxtailing a lot. some of the foxtails are becoming buds of their own. i am trying something new now. i replaced 2 3000 kelvin t5's with 10000 kelvin t5's. they are supposed to be 'finishers'. i am hoping they have some more uv so they buds get frostier. i am not that happy with the frostieness now...

smoked a bit of a mini joint last night while walking my dog. still needs to dry out a bit and needs to cure. tastes a bit green but has an undertone of 70's sativa smell and taste. the buzz however is quite interesting. my dog met up with some other dogs and i could not shut with the other dogs owners. i am normally quiet and prefer to listen rather than talk. it is a very uplifting heady high but not jittery. i had made some brownies out of some of the trim and fan leaves. the brownies have a couch lock/narcotic effect so i am happy that the flowers are the opposite. i know i harvested this plant a bit on the early side at 12 weeks but i was afraid of what was causing leaf die off and i didn't want it to spread to her sister plant which is still going at 14 weeks.

my sons were going to burn up a bud last night after i hit the hay. i am curious what their take is as they are bigger smokers that i am. will post that later when after i have a chance to ask them their opinion.

my remaining plant is almost 14 weeks into flower. the trichs are a mix of clear and cloudy with a smattering of amber. she is starting to smell stronger. i just changed out a couple of my 'bloom' t5's for some 10000 kelvin 'finisher' bulbs. i am curious to see if that helps with trich production in the next couple of weeks before harvest. this has been a long, long grow that started in late december(so i guess about 20 weeks - yikes!). i am flush with smoke and will be for quite a while as i still have a bunch left from my previous master kush grow. i think i'm going to need to find some people to donate to as my sons and i can't smoke it fast enough. first world problems, lol...

oddly enough, the foxtails look like they have nearly doubled in girth in the day since i changed the bulbs. could be a coincidence but if so, i like it! i want more coincidences...

Looks great man! The GH Thai has always interested me, I enjoyed those old school sativas.

Not sure what was causing that leaf burn but, looks like it was isolated to just the one plant?

The foxtailing is very typical with sativas, she looks great. The finished bud looks very nice too. Props man

thanks stoney. i will take some pics of the girl i have left in the tent probably tomorrow. i didn't car for the look of the foxtails initially but where they are getting to look like little buds and getting nice and frosty, i have changed my stance.

Looking great! You may have already done this but make sure you dry them in a dark place. This
will help slow down the drying process and prevent THC degradation from the light.

Great job and nice drying rack.

thanks stone. it is one of my scrog screens. they are in a dark room now in my basement with a dehumidifier keeping the room at 60% for the next few days...

jarred the buds up today. they are at around 67% after a good 8 hours. weighed the harvest and have 126 grams. combined with the 100 grams off the other plant and i am pretty happy with about 226 grams from just under 300 watts. smoked a bit of a joint from the first plant. still tasting like it needs some curing time(it is in the 66% rh range). nice uppity buzz.

smoked a bit of a joint now off the 2nd plant and all i can say is wow. this sativa buzz is heavy duty. kind of a trippy, psychadelic stone. can't wait for it to be in the cure zone as it is still a bit wet and doesn't smoke that well yet. the first plant i harvested smokes nicely. it has that cannabis smell that i used to smell all the time when i was a kid. this is not, however, anything like what i was smoking back then. happy, happy!

made some isopropyl hash out of the fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves. first wash out of probably 4 oz's, i got a couple of grams. the product is pretty blonde. i guess i probably could have shaken it a it more and maybe gotten a bit more. i am going to do a second wash at some point when i have consolidated my harvest and can use the iso to de-trich the mason jars i have. probably should have screened then buds before jarring them. living and learning... have not smoked any yet. my kids say it is pretty nice though...
