Day 42,

I'm a little conserned about my other two easy ryders, after 48 hours of being in soil they haven't popped above ground, I may have not buried them deep enough and the top of the soil may have gotten too dry....

If they haven't popped in another 48 hours I will be really concerned.
Pics from below are from Day 42, today is day 43. That is for the biggest ones of course.

I have 3 bagseeds and three big devil autos that are just beginning there life.

Dat 44,

the plants seem to be really picking up there pace so hopefully over the next two weeks they make up for being stunted. I'm going to flip to 12/12 hopefully around 8 weeks of veg, by that time the autos should have caught up and I can take a few clones, if I get around to building a mini cloner for outdoor use.

I have little hope for the two I had planted outdoors, originally calling for 5 days of nice weather quickly turned into 100 mm of rain over the next 5 days....I\ll be surprised if they survive as I won't be there to check on them for another two weeks.

Also, I'm having trouble pulling the trigger on topping or supercropping or lsting, The one I did lst has alot more inner secondary branching but I have since ceased to continue lst.

My plants are ranging between 10-15 inches and I had planned on supercropping at 16 inches.

I'm going to take one day to get rid of all the stress at once and LST/supercrop them all once the smaller ones catch up. Then they should have another week or more to recover before flower.

Day 46, Decided to post pictures despite the lack of interest in this thread.

The tallest of the plants is 16 inches, I was planning on supercropping it today but the stem is so thick even at the top that it isn't possible; This strain doesn't seem to respond well to topping either so I think I 'm going to have to start some serious lst.

I am also considering growing a few of the plants in the back of the tent furthest from the light, tallen so I can utilize my complete space since my light is verticle.

The seedling in the large yellow bucked is one of the three big devil autos
The seedling in the white bucket is one of the two easyryders. The other still hasn't popped above soil and at this point I\m assuming ti dried up and died.

5 of the 6 oldest plants have shown female preflowers and pistils. They were from femmed seeds that I grew out so I'm assuming they are all female.

One plant is still in terrible condition and I think that I will throw it outside after this terrible rainny week we've been having

The two plants that are outside right now have little chance with 100 mm of rain and 70-90 km winds for the past few days...

Plants in the above pics are all droopy because they were due for a watering, They are all super perky now since I fed last night.

Feeding was:

6 ml/gallon Floramicro

3 ml/gallon florabloom
1.5 ml/gallon cal mag

Ph'd to 6.0

I was wondering if I should be watering every few feedings. The last two grows I went extremely light on the nutes, I wasn't even feeding them what I'm feeding now during flowering or peak growth times. This time around I wanna make sure they get fed well....I have fed with just water in the past three weeks. Only once sinceI started feeding have they gotten water due to issues.

It seems to me that the problem is as I have mentioned before. A watering problem.
Either too much or too little. If your medium does not hold water well then I would prob water alot more frequently than you do.
If it holds water then water less frequently. But I'm getting the feeling that it is being underwatered.
Thats why its good to experiment on a couple of them so that you can track down the problems.
Chin up it will come together. Happy Growing!!

i'm currently in week4 veg but have not journaled this grow. Too many other things to do. FINALLY got my room squared away after a move. i wait to water until i notice a decent droop. i'm in FFOF with about 30% perlite. 7 plants vegging, 1 Lavender and 6 Kryptonite under a 600w HPS with fluoro and cfl sidelighting. Adding a 1000w after this harvest.

The Lavender will be going outside when i flip the switch and i will have the six Kryptonites in flower. The cfl and fluoro supplemental lighting has boosted my veg growth, gave me some bushy little ladies after topping, didn't even phase my power bill, and didn't add heat either.

Anyway, hope that helps. And if you want more visitors to your journal, try attaching a link in your sig. It helped me on the grows i have journaled.

Thanks for the comments. I cannot afford to buy any more nutrients right now. So I plan on veggin long, tommorow is week 7 and I plan to veg another two week atleast until the autos start to show sex. I want to make sure the tent is filled up this time as well. Pulling 6.5 ounces on my last grow with 1000 watt hps was a little depressing and that was only 3 weeks veg.

I know my problems likely come from the cheap coco I'm using as the two healthiest plants are in soil/perlite and the rest are in the coco. I was going to transplant them but I fear that will do more harm then help.

I'm thinking about building a small cab with cfls. I have 6 23 watter and would prob add another 4 or so. I want to make a small 10 site bubble cloner or maybe just use jiffy plugs. Any advvice. I cannot find rooting horomone around here either...I have superthrive though.

i've heard it's just crushed to a powder and you dip your cutting like normal powdered hormone. Aspirin is derived from the willow tree, the same place organic rooting hormone can be found. i never knew why grandma would put a willow branch into the water glass with her rose cuttings until i started growing the herb.

i'd go with the plugs. i hear the powder will clog your openings.

Look on eBay for Rapid Rooter plugs. Get a 12 pack for like $10.
I put a cutting in one and kept it in a dome for about 2 weeks and it rooted fine and is growing healthy. With no rooting hormones at all.
With RR's you can use them in soil, hydro, clones or whatever. No need to pH them either.
Let them grow a couple roots in the dome then move them into their new home. In my case it is a DWC cooler

Ok, Would Jiffy plugs work the same way because I have timing issues and can't really wait a few weeks for mail order.

I found an online site that can deliver within a few days for a small fee. I'm thinking on ordering clonex. Would it work well if I cut them, dipped them in clonex and placed them right in a moist jiffy pellet wit ha humidity dome over it?

The jiffy pellets are more for soil grows. The pellets would prob come apart in a hydro grow.
You could give it a shot. But it's best to get the proper stuff so you don't run into future problems.
The rooters could prob be shipped to you within a couple days. They help to promote healthy root growth.
You can drop a seed in it as long as its kept moist and it will sprout and grow.
I buy alot of my stuff from eBay and its shipped fast and discreet. As long as its not from Hong Kong. Then it take like a month.

Ok thanks guys. Today is day 49 since the 5 big ladies sprouted. I have 6 but one is gonna get the chop or thrown outside as it hasn't grown in weeks.
I fed again today, I noticed they are drying out alot quicker lately as they get bigger. I ran out of florabloom so I had to replace it with iguana juice bloom.

I fed with

7 ml/gallon micro

3 ml/gallon iguana juice.
Ph.d to 5.9

Each plant got about 2 litres of this feeding until they just strated to run off.

Dude you have people telling you what your problems are and you keep wanting to add more fuel to the fire. Your plants look like shit......no disrespect BUT, you're talking about foliar feeding when your plants aren't even standing at attention. QUIT OVER WATERING YOUR PLANTS. 2-3 days is TOO MUCH WATER. Let your damn pots dry out a little. Keep it simple dude , but its obvious you still think you are doing just fine. Listen to what people are telling you!

First of all, overwatering is not the problem perhaps underwatering because they are going completely dry in two days, They are bigger and drink alot more. I honesty think that the reason some of them look like shit is because they are bag seeds and probably terrible genetics, all of my purchased seeds look excellent...

Anyways, I supercropped three plants yesterday and as expected the tallest thickest stem snapped a little. Sucks but I taped it and that's all I can do, I gave them a little superthrive as well. I will post pictures later

I think maybe underwatering too. But in the same sense, it should have been corrected by now. I don't think genetics will make a droopy plant.
If they drink that much water then put a drip on it. Or switch to DWC and never have that worry again. It is simple and produces fast growth.
I'm pulling for you to get this grow back together but you have to experiment a little bit to make changes.
You will never know what is working and what is not working if you never change up and test things out.
I would definitely get the problems figured out before I worried about getting them flowered. And definitely before I spent anymore money on nutes.
It is a weed and will grow outside with no nutes or help at all. If you overthink it then you will create more problems
