3rd gen LED?

Before I drop 500 bucks on this puppy, I wanted to get some general opinions. I know that previous LED grows have not been great, but this one claims to be "the next generation" Currently, I use CFL for low heat/wattage, and I only need something that will do as good/better.

I have seen other grows with LED where they are fine for veg, but how about flower?

I am aware that LED is not to equal HPS/MH, but I am willing to take a hit in yield in exchange for keeping my grow semi stealth. I am VERY VERY paranoid of the fuzz, and the peace of mind makes it worth it.

Personally I'd stick with the CFLs.

That light does look appealing, but I wouldn't be willing to part with $500 for it unless I had seen good results.

I wouldn't fork out the money, in my mind, 3rd Generation only means this is there 3rd try at producing a product that will grow plants w/ LED's, and the first 2 generations didn't do too well.

lol I was kinda scared to post anything about LED, im glad this did not turn into a flame fest.
That's usually what happens, anyway I'd wait till they get better unless you are growing under extreme circumstances and need to use LED. I'd take the money you were going to sped on it and get some lights that are already proven to work.

if ur using cfls might consider geting a good t5 for above canopy and keep cfl s on the sides for side canapy keeps keep pretty low and electric prettly low and can buy a good t5 and use it for like 3-4 years for the cost of an led
