3rd defoliation?

I was wondering if a third defoliation was necessary!? I didn’t get under this one like I wanted to but I defol week one and then week three and here I sit w nice buds and lot of them are growing no problem but I feel would benefit from having light on them is this the wrong idea I’m speaking my second canopy is shaded I’d say enough to ask questions but not enough I feel it would fuck up grow
Leaves are big and protruding I thinking about taking those I suppose

I defol twice as well, they honestly look like they are doing good. every grow has a different preference. I've seen some say it stunts growth, but i did it on my first grow and didn't see much a problem {but that was my first grow and I haven't ran those strains again. therefore i have nothing to compare too. To me, they look like they are getting enough light.

My "opinion" is, if you want small buds, defoliate. Fan leaves provide energy for plants to grow big.

I disagree I believe the plants have their own way of knowing what ur doing in a sense and as long as u don’t over do it u will be fine that is not to say hack it up I agree defol in excess will kill weight but I also believers there are cultivars that require this as there are those that require. Twice and so on but idk

i pluck a few here and there almost daily i am in week 5 of flower not the real big ones just the sad looking ones

I always trim heavy light blocking offenders. The plants react well and other leaves get big. They are smart. I just let them tell me what to do.

like how many and how often i am new and in week 6 of flower

I just turned over to week 7 today that is why I posted this I just decided to do the two defols and pluck cut those over sites as they ultimatum make micro climates etc and throw things off I know they say not to take them but u can tell and get a feel for a leaf being in the way

i turned to 6 today that is day 35 of 12/12 got any pictures? of yours?

Oh yea pics all day bro I have 2 flower tents 10x10 and it may look a bit different these are pics from different weeks I’m week7 in one and week 4 in the other kind of perfect for perpetuating if I had drying room set up lol but u know u can tak specific pic when I get home I screwed up bc I have my feed water same day and one reservoir atm in my veg room haven’t hit a problem yet but came close to not having any r/o once I will get another when I harvest last pic is veg room completely depleted now once filled w lush veg

I don’t set a quota. Just any offenders whenever I see them.

u can just feel it and if for good reason I feel like the plant u derstands like adapts. To that no pressure I agree 100

My kids tell me I’m crazy. But I Love horticulture. I spend many hours with my plants and I just have these feelings, like a plant whisperer. Haha

Man I live at work and think about my garden only it’s weird bro I work in the I dusty stuff SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I can’t not think of garden.

All day everyday, Gardening! I wake up many nights and just read if my lights are out
