Thanks, Bones. No, I didn't top or fim it, although in retrospect I probably should have done one or the other to keep her short and to produce even more bud sites.
I did, however, trim some fan leaves when they looked like they were blocking light access to some of the buds, and I got rid of a lot of the lower fan leaves which weren't receiving any light. Really the only canopy management I did was a hell of a lot of LST.
I had my fans running 24/7. I cut two holes in the box when I built it - one on the left side about a foot up, and one on the right side a few inches from the top. The lower left hole was fitted with an 120 mm PC fan as an intake (which blew across the base of the plant), and an 120mm PC fan as an exhaust at the top (drawing the heat from the bulbs out of the box). The intake fan was also fitted with a filter to prevent foreign objects being sucked into the box. Those two fans were sufficient to keep the temps in my box consistently between 70 & 80 F.
