After having some experience under my belt, id go with not only more wattage then you might need, because you can dim, but also get more smaller fixtures if it doesnt break the bank. You have more flexibility with smaller fixtures and can personally tailor the light to each plant better. One strain growing faster, lift that light. One growing slower, lower it. Also, get a light that you will use for a bit and dont cheap out if you can. There is some things you can cheap out on, light and a inline fan are not one of them.

Makes a lot of sense but in a 4 x 4 tent I want to make sure my coverage is good that’s why I run that 400 W Because I got five in there flowering

Should I go for 2 plants in 3gal pots, or should I attempt 3 in 3gal pots? These are all auto flowers but still, 3 seems like it might be pushing it.

Would be using 660 for flower
Well then I may have to look into that but first I want to find out what my light produces because apparently she’s giving all five of them pretty flowers enough lite, Well I’m kind of anxious to find out what kind of par readings I’m getting from everything because I know the middle plant is just taking up all the light

I got two plants going in the tent. One just popped her head above soil :D

Running mephisto Skywalker and Grape Walker Kush. Skywalker was the first to pop, and germ'd faster than the GWK. I did paper towel but after doing some reading, I think next time I could just plant directly in soil.

I got them direct in 3 gal with FFOF and 30ish percent extra perlite. Light is 36" away from top of soil and running at 20%. Temps are about 75, I'm trying to get the humidity up cause it's only around 50%.

Eh, dont worry about the humidity too much. The only thing that means is that you have to adjust what you are feeding them so you dont give them a toxicity. They will be uptaking water more quickly thus they will be taking in nutrients in the soil up more quickly. Give them less nutrients to water ratio then you would give them if they humidity was higher. Everything sounds great!

and the whole paper towel thing compared to direct in soil, its not a huge deal either. The only thing i have found that really matters if you do the paper towel method, is to make sure you dont damage the root when you go to transplant it into soil. If you do direct in soil, you can soak the seeds for the 20 hours in some warm water and when they crack open plant them in some moist, warm soil. Id put them in "humidity chamber". Which in all honesty can be a clear tupperware container if you dont have anything else.

Sorry if im explaining things you might know already. I like to elaborate for you and/or possibly someone who may read this later on. Gotta spread the knowledge. Cheers.
