I cant stress enough on AIR!... tons of air in everything, some of the biggest buds I have seen in my life where grown from a man who was an air-nut. He grew in DWC and used stupid amounts of air in all of his buckets\reservoirs..
I totally agree. I get fantastic results and run 2 GH Dual Diaphram air pumps with 8 air stones in 5 gallons of water. The girls love it. Just to prove a point, here's the pics. 5 gallon tub, six 5.5" air discs, two 12" air sticks, 5 White widow plants, one 400w light=9.75oz.

Changed room around yesterday, Lights are now on a constant cooling so that the 5 mins off doesnt warm them up too much (also if I failed to change my bottle of c02 the exhaust would have stayed off so that had to change) and the intake fan was flipped around so it is now an out-take fan.

I will have some up to date shots of this and the girls tonight

Here is an up to date shot of them after one of my biggest plants was removed in threat of a male. It was still sad to remove it though... but thats what this is about, I have had a ton of clone grows from healthy moms but this is my FIRST straight seed hydro grow...

Those look great, i like the setup. Gonna maximize the space for sure if you can keep the tops at the same height. A+ dude! 600's?

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. Yeah they are 600's.
When this ones over I am thinking of adding an other 3 600watters to that room you see, assuming the electrician says its OK.

It's day 17 and hardly any signs of sex! This is far different than all the other strains I have worked with but I read that some strains are like that, and this Jamaican pineapple is pretty exotic...??
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

So you're on day 17 of 12/12 right? They sure look small for being flowered. Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful, just small. I let mine veg for longer before I flip em.

I have always read that cannabis will not flower until it is sexually mature. Going to 12/12 before they are sexually mature just increases the amount of time needed to reach sexual maturity since they are getting 6 - 12 hours less light everyday. I veg mine until preflowers show, and then I flip em. Gauranteed full-on flowering about 1 week later if you do it this way. But a lot of peeps do it your way. I'm just saying you might be proving the validity of what I've always read if it's taking this long for your younguns to push pistils. They're probably just not sexually mature enough to flower/reproduce yet.

my white widow took 21 days to show any signs of sex. I think generally the longer the flower time, the longer it takes to show sex.

Yeah the reason they are small is because we had an electrical problem with the bad wiring done to this garage, upon having the electrician fix it the plants had been in darkness for 24 hrs so I had to make the conscious decision to have that be their first day of flower although I would have wanted them to veg for longer. Also with this setup I prefer to have the plants not shade each other out too much.. To tell you the truth I just can't wait for these to finish so I can setup the next grow. DWC buckets...

Thanks for the feedback.
