We just got done putting the outdoor shed back together. Its 12 feet long 8 feet high 8ft wide so 12x8x8=768cft

Im using 4 5ft pvc pipes with 4inch diameter. 9 sites per pipe= 36 plants. The resivoir is a 60 gallon drum dug and sealed half way in the ground behind the shed.

Today we got the pvc pipes up and mouted and looking at the lights, Im starting to wonder if 1ooowatt hps/mh will be enough for this many plants. If theres 36 plants 20(give or take) will be females and bud. Is that enough light? Thers also a a/c window unit that keeps the room a crisp 74 dergrees so heats not a issue.. The walls aree also wraped in mylar so its really got reflection. In opinons? I think i need another 1000k...:wall:

What is the actual expected size of greenery you're going to try covering with 1k? I see you mention 5' lengths of tubing so if the roots are 5' apart max then I'm guessing maybe as much as 7' x whatever of canopy? I like to limit 1kw to no more than 25sq feet, preferrably more like 16. You only count floor square footage btw.

1kw will probably do, it's just far far less than optimal when you start stretching it that far.
