35 days minus the 2 - 2 1/2 weeks of preflowering. so your about 3 weeks into 12/12 really.

Your plants is only just maturing now.

I got confused and started with 12/12 and and switched to 18/6 after it was 12'. It just kept growing. But was healthy. I finaly switched backed to 12/12 after it got 3' tall. I ended up with a plant 6' (this is indoors). It budded nicely. So, your problem like was said, may be in the light cycle your using.

just maturing now?..the 20th will be the end of week 9 and the leafs are already starting to turn yellow with the pistils 50% brown

after on week 5 till now, the buds have swelled up a great deal, and it smells fruity/skunky.. (ive read that the actual swelling growth doesnt appear until week 5/6...it's funny how i got worried in the beginning to be real happy at the end)

When i use my radioshack microscope to look at the trichomes i would have glue all over my clear plasic loop piece. :bigjoint:

I'll be chopping it down on the 20th
the trichomes are 80% cloudy 10% clear and 10% amber...the plant ended up being a sativa dom.

I would post pics but im at work right now...i'll definately show pics of the harvest and make a completely new thread off it.

I am having an issue with my plants. They are at 3 weeks flowering and the pistils are not looking how i would expect for 3 weeks.. There are some pistils but alot of them are brown already and there are not many white fresh pistils... WTF? I have a theory this is temperature related, but i also discovered a small light leak which has been covered for about a week. I am impatient and its probably nothing, but i was curious if anyone knows how temperature affects flowering. My temps climb to 82F during lights on, and drop to about 75 in the dark. I am also not seeing much trichome production...

Anyone??

Friend, either your plant has some weird genetic flaw or you did something very wrong.
You'r conditions sounds optimal.

It is possible that you just got a runt, but rule out the other options before you decide thats the case.

Check manualy that the lighs are on 12 hours and off 12 hours. Get in the room when it lights up and when it shuts down.
During the dark time check a few times to see if it doesn't turn on for some reason.

Your plant SHOWS flowering, but not as expected for a 35 days flowering plant. If the lights are fine wait a week to see if it does better.

Your plant looks like mine after 4-5 days in flowering. Not to brag. So when you check other peoples journals in a week to see how your doing, check how it looks at day 11-12.

Beside that, If I recall correctly, swiss cheese is pretty much a sativa. Some sativa's requier a 11\13 light cicle to stimulate flowering. They finish under 12\12, but not as well.
You should email Nirvana and ask them about that.

Anyhow, if its not enviromental I'd toss away that genetics after this run and get something new for your next run.
