Great show BC. Reading the whole thing, it had a kinda timeless quality to it, excepting maybe some of the early trolly bits. All the best with this grow, and the many that will safely transpire.

FUCK :wall:

I think I got greenhouse Thrips. Nothing too major, I caught it early enough that I can fry the fuckers. I have only ever seen 2 on all the plants though, so I dont think they are that bad yet.

Little, tiny, 1/8" things, white/beige color So far have only seen 2, wouldnt have noticed them if they didnt start moving.

The plan is a bunch of No-Pest strips in the tent and grow room, and Im gonna get some insecticide tomorrow so I can do a few sprays before they are too far in flowering.

Im thinking Neem or Einstein oil, or else see what the guy at my hydro shop says.....He Has been on the cover of High Times Magazine so I usually trust his advice.

Any other suggestions?

also get some nematodes or mosquito dunks and water your babies with it.. will kill anything in the soil and keep em from reproducing.. the neem will keep em from feeding and stick em to tha plants

What are nematodes, or is there a brand you can buy them under?

And just curious how you would apply the Mosquito dunks. Arent they slow release pucks?

Thanks for the tips though, I will def look into that.

ya the dunks you just soak in your nute solution overnight before you feed they look like little pucks of granola or something... and the nematodes are a predatory insect you order online for about 20 bux plus another 20 or so s/h.. you want the double death nematodes for top 2 inches and bottom 6 inches for maximum control of any soil dwelling insects

Im not so sure it was from the soil. Well I dont use soil. Promix is sterilized. I had some cinnamon basil growing, a few died and got neglected and left there, so Im just kinda cleaning everything up in the grow room, and Im gonna spray down the room with insecticide to fry anything thats not on the plants as well.

When I watered today I was keeping a close eye on all the dirt, normally after you water if theres knats or anything in the soil, you will see them float to the surface and you will see at least a few moving if not a lot. I didnt see any in the dirt from 32 plants. Just the 2 little buggers in the whole damn room.

I am interested in the Nematodes though. Do you have experience with them? How long do they survive in the dirt? Is it one time and let them do their thing or will my nute solution kill them?

Also do you Have to order online because they have a short shelflife or something? Just wondering because I have a lot of Nurserys and Hydro shops in my area, Im wondering if they are sold at places like this?

Thanks again.

yes i have used em and they do work amazingly well if you do have some buggers in your dirt.. they can live in the soil for a couple of months under optimum conditions and will only die off if there is nothing left to eat.. all they eat is bugs, no roots no nothing, water and nutes will not hurt them in the slightest.

you can keep em in the fridge for i think 2 months, and most places dont keep em around because from what i can find they are a tad tedious to raise because they have to constantly be fed soil bugs, but are not sold in soil but on little sponges i honestly donno how they raise em i tried to figure that out myself. they may have them around i am not sure if you call around and ask peeps should know whatthey are.. your guy at the hydro place will definitely know what they are

Yeah he should know, thanks again man. I got a few new things to look into now. Either way Im not overly worried. Once I get the no-pest strips in there Ill have a better idea of just how infested they are.

like, oh, my, god, did you like totally take the time to think of a rebuttal to defend yourself for being a biaa.. like you must be such a girl. you should be like totally happy he even decided to share his grow with your ungrateful cooter ohmygaaw..

anyways as you can see, and you already mentioned (nematodes), i moved long past your golden nugget of wisdom, and proceeded to discuss the reason behind this thread.. i.e. the plants and the grow, not the quality of the camera.. but nice rebuttal anyways..
