315 cdm Philips bulb

The Philips bulb comes in a 942 (4000k) and a 930)(3000k)

Using them in veg and obviously the 942 is better with more blue but when I was running the 930 they looked alot more robust and generally bigger.
I know the increase in blue in the 942 will keep them squat and promote side branching but before the flip I lollipop and they go into a pretty high scrog and during veg they've been topped and supercropped.
Also the 942 has alot more green in it.
Is the bluer spectrum on the 942 a better veg bulb irregardless

4000 kelvin is called 'daylight' these days

or purple if ur fussy, is a good balance of both

'Also the 942 has alot more green in it.' = no its not

and besides plant don't see green

the 942 is the better bulb because of the even balance of the blue and red kelvin

good luck

I bought both and am testing them out in my CMH system. Time will tell, but I expect the 4200K Philips Mastercolor to outperform their 3100K option. Hm...I should probably start a log... :p
