3000k vs 4000k

I am sure they exist but honestly some of the nastiest digressing threads appear in Marijuana/Cannabis forums. The growers pride and arrogance and inability to practice agreeing to disagree is pathetic. Maybe it's the Pot, but people have a hard time staying on Topic too. I suppose if it is your thread maybe you should have a little more say as to the direction, but how many times to people go way off topic. You need to realize 10 years later people are searching to find valuable information and they have to read through people's childish petty arguments. C'mon Man...

My HLG 135 watt has been incredibly bright and I must be careful for LED light burn. That can cause symptoms that appear as multiple deficiency. Anyway, still banging away and acting like the Sun! This has Philips diodes 3000k. Pre production model not marketed in the end.

@ANC you seem much older now:leaf:

I've used 2700K 90CRI, 3000K 70CRI, 3000K 80CRI, 3000K 90CRI, 3500K 80CRI, 3500K 90CRI, 4000K 80 CRI.

70CRI produces the most vegetative matter in my experience, good for veg. 90CRI produces the most stretch. There are other minor differences but I haven't seen a notable yield difference based on K. 3000K 80CRI is an old standard and is still a good bet unless you want some stretch.

I'm quite happy with the 3500K 80CRI rig I run.
