Decided to turn a 10x10 room into a flower room and a 5x5 tent into the veg/mother/clone room.
Installing Black and White Poly over the carpet.
I started in the corner opposite of the door so i could work my way out to avoid big ripples.
I nailed through the carpet and the Poly in the corners. (nails where way to long)
Unfortunately the poly was a few inches short on one side so i couldn't go all the way to the far wall. Which is ok because no plants will be there. Aesthetically it pisses me off.
The poly should go all the way to the right wall tucked under the carpet.
Finished Poly Floor.
So the reason i regretted installing the floor was because i didn't put the lights up yet. So now i have to hang 3 lights on top of the newly laid poly. Which makes for more clean up and possible rips and tears.
Finished hooks
Since i bought the lights off Craigslist i needed to create an anchor point for the S hooks. I used wire rope (30 cents a foot) from home depot with connectors. This wire rope is hard as hell to cut i wish i would have had homedepot cut it into 1 ft sections for me.
Crimping the connectors is also a difficult task.
Finished lights.
Next i installed the carbon filter exhausted to the attic.
Unfortunately i hit a stud and had to re trace the hole. Thankfully i was still able to use the part i already cut out.
You can see the red outline of where the hole was originally supposed to go.
This is where i am at the end of day one.
