Hey guys Im growing some bubblegun (ak and bubblegum) and this is there 29th day from seed. They are about 8 inches tall and 10 inches wide. Around 9 or 10 nodes on one, the other I lollipopped and has around 6-7. I also fimmed the same one I lollipopped. What do ya say, how do they look for 30 days under a 400 watt mh? Just changed there res from a 4 gal to a 15 gal. Hope they like it, keeping it very aerated.

I also have a question as to whether I should trim the big fan leaf blocking the future budsite. You can see it in the second picture in the bottom left. Im not big into trimming but if it will be beneficial I will. The seed bank said this strain could use some trimming due to its vigorous growth periods. what do ya think?

Cutting a shade leaf off here and there wont really do much to hurt the plant, just dont cut all of them off. they are needed.

I just added two 60 watt cfl lamps to the bottom of my setup to light up the lower veg. Saw them at home depot and couldn't pass them up being stoned. Will these help that much? Im going to run them unless they can damage the plant because they only cost like 3 dollars a year. There 60 watt bulbs that emit 1200 lumens. I have two of them, one point at each plants lower vegetation. The bulbs are about 3 to 4 inches away from longest fan leaf. Heat does not seem to be an issue. Thoughts? Thoughts vs trimming off fan leaves?

they can only add to it, shouldnt do any harm. cfls produce almost no heat, you can probly move them to about an inch away

Wait til your budsites develop a little more and tuck the fan leaf underneath the growth. You can also LST to expose the undergrowth to the light better. I'm always weary of cutting off green leaves. EDIT: You can also LST your fan leaves ;)

The tops look a little heat or light stressed. How close to the tops is your light? Don't cut off any leaves. Looking pretty good.
