I started this operation 05/09 was when I planted the sprouts after germination in paper towels. I wanted to keep track of my own progress, especially since this is my first time growing anything and also be able to have support in case my plants decide to start fucking up or in case I fuck it up so here it goes!

Soil: Miracle Grow continuous 3 months mix 1:2 ration with PH balanced peat moss
Light: 26 watt 6500K CFLs
White Widow, Bigbud, and some bagseed

Heres the break down of what has happened so far...blah, fuck it! I think pictures can explain it better than I can!

They are around 1-3 inches away from the lights, I have 3 lights aprox on 1 plant all 26 watt 6500k.
Should I add in some different spectrum like 5000k and some 2700k soft white, would this help the plant receive more light for photosynthesis?

I'm really thinking about returning all 30 of the CFLs and investing that for a 400 watt HPS/MH, only thing is I'm really short on cash.

Maybe if I grew my own bud I wouldn't be this poor...hmmm :blsmoke:

yea, the lights are a little close, moved em up today. I gaved them so far a quart of chorlin evaporated water every one and a half days when the lights come on. I have to leave my plants today for about a week I hope it'll be fine!

I thought I would be able to avoid this, but of course messing with the lights when im not suppose to caused leaf burn (drop the lights on the plants) gah! They should be fine

Leaf burnt on 3/6 of my potted plants

I don't know why the bottom stem is reddish, also this one doesn't look as full as the other, loppsidded, When it was small the seeds never opened fully for one side of the plant, this is WW and isn't doing as well as its sister

Dude your lights still seem WAYYYYYY to close. None of those pictures make it look like they are even more then an inch away. I woudl get those at least 2-3 inches away. As you said you can even see the burn you got. Id back them off.

Purple stem could be nitrogen, but im not sure.

Hey updating journal, been gone for a while, 3 days and came back to find the plants doing well!

I transplanted the solo ones into bigger pots. 3 in 8'' and 1 in 10''.

I also added more soil to top of the other plants and as well as watered them.
Added 2 more 6500k CFLs and moved the light fixtures up 5 inches.

So far its doing good, theres a bit of smell coming from the plants, but not very strong, it is Day 18 after they have been germinated and planted in small cups with soil...germinated 16 Bag seed, 5 Big Bud, 5 WW and only 10 has survived. I didn't use a cover when first planted...that probably would of help with the GH effect.

When I was transplanting the solo ones I forgot to take down what kind of strain was planted so I have no idea, I do remember there is at least 1 BB or WW in the 4 I planted.

So far 3 known WW and 2 BB has survived and 4 Bagseed, 1 unknown. I am probably going to take clones from a mother plant and later on start an SOG op.

I also bought 24 warm white CFLs on ebay for 30 bucks pretty good deal if you ask me, but I'll have to find out for myself if its the right color output for flowering...going to a poker tournament tonight if I place I can get a HPS eZ!
I'll start the flowering cycle after the recently planted 4 has matured more since I don't have two sections to veg and flower them.

Here they are on 5-26
Pictures
1-4 is recently planted yet to find out what strains
5 is Floawee bagseed, 6 Fuego Big Bud, 7 Jack/Jill WW, 8 leXO WW,9-10 Queen BB, 11 Stubby WW.

I have to keep the closet doors open so it stays well ventilated, but the light was so bright that I couldn't sleep well...it keeps wanting to :joint: on my mind but most importantly I wanted to minimize the light from the windows which has some shitty blinds and still let cool air in. Shower curtain allows me to keep cool air sinking in and block some light

I went to check up on the plants today and they are doing great. all 10 of them seem to be doing fine, of course the bagseed one is still hanging on the edge but its acutally the bushiest.

I decided that the electricity was a problem so I scouted out a couple places to plant them outdoors and returned the 32 CFLs I bought...boy was the walmart people pissed, but i got my money bak :weed:

Right now they are sitting in a ditch somewhere safe and I'll give them a watering tonight...I bet they are thirsty and happy to see me after 5 days.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to use to transplant these babies outdoors I would appreciate it. Suggestions like how to keep animals and pest away, soil, drainage, and the overall transplanting process... They are about 3 weeks old.

Found a good spot today for 2 of my plants...Big Bud and WW. Right now they are sitting at the spots still in their pots, but I'm going to get some soil and possibly some lime stuff , dig a hole and plant them. They're loving the outdoors so far, looks stronger and less droopy even though I haven't watered them for a good week.

The 2 I water with nearby lake water and the other ones still sitting in the ditch. Pics soon after I start planting these babies. I hope they turn out to be monster females!

It's def hard work trying to seek out places for my plants and also carry water to them but I try hard. Found another spot! Pretty secluded but its a longer journey through thick terrain. They are all doing great and def getting taller faster than they were inside. Inside plant is bushier.

Checked on it last night...guess what? Strong winds and maybe flooding drowned 6 of my plants flipped them over and now they look pathetic.

I gave em trimmings cut off pretty much all their leaves and took 2 okay looking clones. GAH this is going to slow shit down. then i repotted them.

Today I'm going to take them to the spot where i have my first 2 plants and hopefully they'll regrow back. Shield your eyes from the pics, they're not great to look at.
I knew I would be entering a world of hurt when putting it outside didn't expect a lil seabreeze thunderstorm to turn out to be 20+ gust.

On the up side, there's still a chance that they'll grow back and possiblly stronger since they are used to outside enviroment and I still have 4 healthy plants thriving.

Looks like more rain today...moved them into a better spot and gave the healthy ones some epsom salt and trimmings.

You guys think the damaged ones can be saved? the root system is still there plus added more soil to top it off, but the stem just looks pathetic...maybe it'll grow out from underneath?

So on Sunday I finally went back to check and move my plants to a new location.

the ones that were previously damaged by the trechous flood is dead. So I only have 4 plants left.

The good news is that when I checked on them all of them looked extremely healthy and are all females!

Also my buddy decided to move his plants with mine, they were the same seeds as I gave those seeds to him and he's been growing in his back yard for the past month. Unfortunaly his plants did not receive adequte sunlight there so it def has stunted growth (compared to my giants at least).

He has 7 plants + 4 of mine = 11!

Couple weeks ago I was trimming one of the plants and I decided to just put a weak clone into the same pot, pretty much I just stuck it in, and to my suprise it rooted so I replanted that in its own pot.

On Sunday we got a little bit carried away and decided to clone as many as we can with the supplies I have. So I got some "Take root" shit and cloned 18 more guranteed females. I'm not sure if it's too late in the season but I'm sure they'll bud regardless how big they are.

I put the clones in a rubbermaid tub and covered it with shrink wrap to protect it for a couple days from the crazy thunderstorms we get in FL.

So......I'm pretty excited and will check on them tommrow since its my day off and take some pictures for u fellas

Nature took its course, there is no way to battle with mother nature. Grow location completely flooded last time went back, got crates and put them on it but it was too late.

Total yield....2.0 grams. eh... Def was fun up until summer kicked in and battered it to hell.

I'm gonna start a small stealthy inside operation 28hx 20d x14w def SOG or something to get more light in.
