3 weeks into flowering, some yellowing and browning

Hi,

Beginner grower here. My plant is nearly three weeks into flowering and I noticed this shortly after switching to 12/12.

Setup:
1. Temperature: 75~
2. Light: 400 HPS
3. Nutes: Biothrive Bloom (2-4-4)
4. PH: Unknown. Tester on its way, but am using Brita filtered water

Issues:
1. The edges on several leaves are a brownish color
2. Downward canoeing
3. Claw

I thought it could be the shock of changing them to 12/12 while changing their nutrients, as I didn't wean them onto them at all. My schedule is typical "feed, feed, water", every two-three days. The plant, overall is very green.

I've been browsing and reading others experiences, and I'm simply not comfortable diagnosing this particular issue. Many signs point to over watering, and some to nutrient burn.

Rollitup is very slow, so I've instead linked to the images:

You might notice a little white and/or wet leaves. I had just sprayed them with water and a low dosage of neem oil.

sounds like normal browning the plant it eatting its self happens all the time more the fans leaves you can cut some off to help get bigger buds

I was under the impression that, during flowering, the leaves turns yellow, as the plant eats up stored nutrients. In my situation, they seem to be burnt more than yellow.

fertilizer burn? or too much watering?

i also had the Downward canoeing a few grows ago,i lightened up on watering and they went back to normal.

Ok, so the canoeing can be from excess watering, but what about the brown edges and spots in the pics?

that can be caused by overwatering and also over fertililizing.

Kerovan, the guy at the hydro shop said I should be watering every two days while in flowering, and to have 10% run off. I have 10-15% runoff and do it about every three days. In the past three weeks now, I've probably given the plant nutrients maybe three to four times.

generally yes, watering every 2 days or so is about right. But you cannot go by timing alone. You want to stick your finger down into the soil about an inch or so. If the soil is still moist, they don't need water yet. If the soil is dry, it's time to water. It is generally every 3 days for me. But I always check the soil to make sure.

Kerovan, I just tested using that same method, and it was bone dry. I noticed that many leaves are starting to turn a lightgreen, almost yellowish. It sounds to me like it's deficient and needs more nutes. Opinions?

may not be getting enough water then if it's bone dry. And you could give it some ferts that have some more nitrogen in them to help keep the leaves healthy. Pale, yellowing leaves are a sign of nitrogen deficiency.
