3 strains auto flowers. Soil PH adjustment?

I'm running autoflowers, 3 different stains. We are in the beginning of week four. They are in FFOF. I started adding Big Bloom at the end of week 3 and just started adding Grow Big yesterday. A small amount, 1/2 teaspoon. I've been PHing my water and nutes to 6.2 to 6.5.
Water last night. Went to test my soils ph with one of those probe type devices. A few of my girls are pushing 7.5.

On my last run I ran into nute lockout so I'm trying to get ahead of it. From what I'm reading if your soil has a high PH, you can use PH down to lower it by adding it. Sounds too easy so I'm reaching out to see if I'm going to be doing it right. I don't want to waste any time or make it worse.

Overall your plants look healthy, but the back row one in the middle looks like it may have had boron deficiency, which could be from high soil pH. Cannabis tolerates a very wide range of pH, so I believe you can lower the nute pH more without much risk (try 5.8?), but also watch what happens to the soil pH and be ready to reverse course if the outcome is not as expected.

I won't be able to reply for awhile, perhaps others will take interest. There are other tactics that can be used to lower pH, such as iron sulfate.

Not even. Not with FFOF. You shouldn't have to feed until flower if even then. Next time go with Pro Mix or Sunshine 4.
Completely agree. I listened to some people on here and started feeding way too early in FFOF now I'm paying for it. Learned a valuable lesson. If you're obsessed with nutes and pH etc, just do Promix or Coco, hydro. I had an outdoor plant in FFOF I didn't even water or fertilize and it looked 100x better than my indoor I kept fucking with lol.

Stop worrying about the pH. FFOF has oyster shell for pH adjustment. Pretty much all bagged soil has some kind of liming agent to buffer the pH and keep the soil pH at the proper level.

And I bet you're using one of those cheap soil probes that are worthless anyway.

This...everyone on here keeps saying ITS PH ITS PH in soil and it's not. My tap water is nearly 8 and I noticed when I tried to use pH down at 6.5, plants started to look like total shit. I'll never ph my water in soil again.

I switched to Pro Mix the same time I joined RIU. First solution I saw here. Paid $35 in Wasilla AK. I've recently switched to Sunshine 4 because Pro Mix is now $65 here while Sunshine is $36. Same volume. A little light on perlite but that's an easy fix. Switched so I could actually feed.

Yes. Use promix if you want to use nutrients. There's just no way to tell what you actually need to add unless you start from a zero base and FFOF ain't it. Then choose a single line of nutrients and closely follow the manufacturer's schedule for application. Be careful in your measurements and keep a calendar. If things go way off, you'll know it and you'll learn from it. There's a lot of knowledge in this forum but there's also a lot of noise. It can lead you down bad paths. Good luck!

Your plants look like they don't need anything. Certainly not pH adjustment. Just be patient. Don't worry be happy.
