3 Plants in a 4'x4' tent

How would I set up a scrog so that all three plants in 5 gallon DWC will be divided equally. This is what I came up with. It isn't perfect

hey black widow, why only 3 in that space. Im hoping to grow 4 in a 3'x3' lol you could probably fit 5 or 6 easy with less veg time. or do you just wanna grow some big ones?

I am just finishing up my first grow. 4 indicas in a 4X4. It was TIGHT. Looked like a scrog and the canopy went from wall to wall. If you only have one tent then sure run more smaller plants... If you have one tent for veg and one plant for flower... you will have 2 months to veg while you wait for your flowering tent to be harvested. I am tempted to only run 3 plants next time so they dont grow over each other.

Hey Lord, did you use any other grow techniques to help guide your plants in order to maximise the space...i.e. mainlining, defoliation, topping etc. 120x120cm is quite big from what I know & should easily accommodate 4plants especially indica's. Do you think you'll be happy with the yield?

this is my fist grow ever. Today is 7 weeks exactly, and the tops look great. There are lots of small imature buds down lower... Im running Mars II1200 now but may be changing to something much bigger here real soon... I FIMd one out of the 4 plants. I have 2 plants that are taller, and 2 shorter. I may have TRIED to FIM the second shorty but only succeeded in stunting it... I did nothing else other than adding bamboo sticks and tying up the two shorter plants about a week ago as the branches were falling over and they were growing into each other getting all tangled. I wanted to keep this first grow as "natural" as I could (one test is difference between FIMd and not) Not grow I will probably trim up the bottom of the plants a bit. I think the plants used too much energy on the lower branches that were getting so little light because the canopy was so dense. Now that the plants are starting to die off and lose the fan leaves so the lower buds are starting to grow a bit faster. My second grow will be Sativas so that will be different... but the next time I grow indicas I may only run 3 and see if the total harvest will be around the same because of more room for plants to catch the light and have more buds down lower.

Sounds like you know what your doing mate & in time you'll just get better. I think I know what you mean as 'natural' as possible, id like my grow to be as 'easy' as can be without fussing over it. I hear mainlining is pretty good & most of the work happens during veg so you can just enjoy the flower phase. I was looking at sativa's also, the c99 sounds awesome & ideal indoors. Good luck

I started off with 4 DWC my current grow in the 4'x4' tent, but only flowered 2 because of the others being slow growers, the two in there took up the whole screen after flowering, I was thinking 3 instead of, 4 because with 4 in there it is hard for me to do waterchanges under the screen, 2 makes it a lot easier. I figure with 3 in there it shouldn't be too bad plus I could add a strain or two to have more variety. I don't currently have a veg tent, just the 4'x4'. I'd prefer large plants, I'll be topping, defoliating, and going to clean out anything small under the screen before flower

Well I did it "natural" not for zen or focusing my chi or even because I'm lazy... I did it to get a "base line". After this grow I will know if I pop 4 beans, veg for 2 months, 24 hours of dark, then go 12/12... I'll know what to expect.

I just started looking at a "mainlining" thread last night, very interesting! I need to do more reading, but not sure if it's only for keeping crops short, or if I can grow 36" tall bushes doing it that way. I like the symmetry of the plants, but not sure if that will work for me so well in my tent, as 4 plane plants had me at wall to wall canopy... Who knows maybe it would work better for me? I just looked at a couple plants I have in veg and did some topping to them to bring it a bit closer to the mainline idea....

was thinking the same as you about mainlining, but from my little understanding you can mainline as wide as you want & let veg vertically as long as you want...of course the more you do it the more time you add to veg stage like any other stress technique. Would be nice though if someone can confirm if mainlining is OK for plants to grow at 3 or 4ft during flower? if you find out let me know, cheers
