3 plant check in

Now that I'm posting I realize I should have a few more up close pics. Its raining right now so I will when that stops.

All three Green Crack.

Second outdoor grow, first was some plants in fabric pots with a super late start. This was my first semi planned grow. I prepped the ground ( that in itself was a mix of old wood, manure, compost, dirt and let it set for a few years) , mixed in Ocean forest some dry nutes and recharge. Mulched like crazy. I haven't had to water once as it just hasn't stopped raining here - its been almost perfect.

Topped them at the fifth node and have been working them against this wire panel, its about 4'x10'.

Looking at pictures from last year - I have about a month of growing to go before the stretch and flower. What can i do between now and then? I think the color and growth has been good.

  • I'm thinking I should top dress with dry flower nutes in about 10 days. That should allow them to become available at about the start of flower?

  • What about the branching? I'm about maxed out, should I allow them to keep growing upwards? Should I put another panel up? Everything is about perfect now, it looks like to me I might have a mess in 30 more days?

I've never seen anyone scrog outside. I don't know if it's necessary, but it looks cool.
Thanks!

The main reason I did this was to manage plant height for easy monitoring of bud worm. My outside plants last year got off to a late start and while very productive, they were maybe 3 feet tall including the pots. I spent a bit of time looking over all the buds and picked out worms early. Up until that time it was always a fun to think.. I can't wait until I can grow some real tall monster plants next year- Then I realized, I can't groom them at 10 feet tall.
