3 Months and it has not yet shown any sex yet

I have been growing this GH Super Lemon Haze Plant (bought feminized) thats been growing for about 3 months on a 12hrs on / 12hrs off light schedule and it has not yet shown any sex yet, no balls and no buds on it at all but it does have a few white hairs on it and she/he/it's abought 3ft tall. What could be the problem? Could this be a hermi? Also, all the leaves are very thin, is this normal for the GH Super Lemon Haze Plant?

* Soil: FOXFARM OCEAN FRESH
* Lights: Started it under a 2ft - 4 bulb T5. HO fluorescent light fixture until it was about a little over 1 foot tall. Then placed under a 150watt CFL (6500k) with 1 - 150watt (6500k) & 1 - 105watt (6500k) on each side and about half way down the plant.
* Water: Right now it gets watered twice a week with Schults plant food - once a week.
* My water has a ph of 7.1 and the soil has a ph of 6.5 - 7
* I have not used any nutrients, just a little organic worm castings mixed in the soil and some organic powdered kelp spread on top of the soil, i used this mixture on my last grow (3 BLACKJACKs) and i ended up with a pretty good crop.

Well, if you are seeing hairs, then it's a female or a hermie. That is a sativa dominant plant - they take forever to flower anyway, but with low powered lights, it might just be an eternity. Also - as mentioned, check for light leaks - if too much is getting in, the plant will continue to veg. Also - they prefer lights in the 2700K range for flowering.

are you using the 6500K for flowering? Because that's not the light that your plant wants when in bloom. You need lower spectrum lights like 2300K. But I am not sure if this would cause you plants not to bud? Did you use the same lights for the last grow? It might just be the way the plant responds to the light. How long have you been flowering all three months?

That is my next strain and I have been studying it for a while now. I hope you get girls soon my friend. Although your lady doesn't look to healthy. (No offense) But every leaf is curled under and folded bi-laterally. Super lemon is supposed to very forgiving when it comes to nutes, I say feed her something tasty.

Thanks to all who responded to my post! Buddreams - as for light leak, my make shift grow room is in a closet that is in a spare bedroom that we don't use except for storage and the doors are always closed at night when the grow lights are off, no light what so ever can get to the plants. wrocks - yes, i used the 6500k bulbs through the whole cycle on the 3 Blackjack plants and got a little over 3oz's of pure dried buds. I also grew Nirvana's Master Kush, Nirvana's Super Skunk & Barney's Blue Cheese with pretty good results using the 6500k bulbs. DoeEyed & wrocks, I had read that you can use 6500k bulbs through the whole cycle if that was all i had at the time but if you recomend me to use 2300k - 2700k CFL bulbs for the blooming stage, I'll pick some up this week. How many & what wattage should i get? eyerguy - Your right about my leaves being curled under and folded bi-laterally, they started doing that about 3 weeks ago and i don't know why, i didn't change anything in what i was doing since the beginning but the good news (if there is any) is that the plant is still nice & green with no brown spots at all on them (except maybe a couple of leaves on the bottom that are dying off in which is normal). As for using nutrients, what would you recomend? I have on hand some Humboldt Nutrients such as Humboldt Conventional 3-part Base Nutrients, Grow - Micro - Bloom, Honey Hydro Carbs, Ginormous & Oneness (5-9-4). I never used any of them since the crops i grew before the Super Lemon Haze all grew very well without them and my ph levels in both my water & soil were almost perfect. The only thing i did differently with this grow is that i started the Super Lemon Haze from the beginning on a 12/12 light cycle and that was only because i was growing the Blackjacks at the same time & the Blackjacks were already 3 weeks on the 12/12 cycle. I started the Blackjacks (& my prior grows) on a 16/8 light cycle for 5 - 7 weeks & 12/12 for the rest of the grow. Once the Blackjacks were done, i thought if i had switched the light cycle on the Super Lemon Haze up to the 16/8 light cycle after being on the 12/12 cycle for about a month would harm the plant so i just left it on the 12/12 cycle. Since i never had a plant turn hermie on me, if the plant turns out to be a hermie, is there any use for it, would i still be able to get a buzz off it, would it have seeds and if so, would the seeds be able to germinate? Or should i just pull it. theexpress - If i leave it in the dark for 2 days then put it on 11/13 the rest of flower stage as you suggest, would it harm the plants that i also have growing now for about 3 weeks in the same closet - (Nirvana's Bubblelicious, DNA's L.A. Woman & GH Trainwreck - all feminized - 1 of each) if i change the light cycle to 16/8 when i finally pull the Super Lemon Haze? I really don't want to pull the Super Lemon Haze to early unless i have to since it's a little over 3ft now & still growing! The reason why i try growing new plants before the others have finished is because i have awful chronic back & sciatica nerve pain from a forklift accident at work & along with the strong pain killer Fentanyl 100mg, pot helps my back pain by lessing the horrible muscle spasms that i have in my lower back & right leg, it also helps me get to sleep alot faster & stay asleep when used with my strong, prescribed medications! so i never want to be without it and its hard for me to buy from anyone trustworthy (im 49yrs old) all the time nor can i afford it since i can't work anymore. I am very sorry to babble on like this (must be the drugs) but i can use all the help i can get on growing and this is my 1st time ever seeking help on a marijuana forum. I really do appreciate all the help i can get on growing from you great people here on rollitup forum, thank you!

I'd suggets switching your spectrum to 2300K range, but I don't think that's the problem since your other plants did fine with it. I can only guess the issue has something to do with starting them on 12/12. I'd try and do what theexpress sugested, maybe it'll snap em out of the veg phase? Do you have your green card? If so I would bump up the scale of your grow, get a flowering room and vegatative room set up so that you can get a perpetual grow going. Good Luck.

check to make sure your timer is working properly on the 12 hr. cycle. I'd personally check the time it goes on and off. Timers can go bad...that is after insuring its set for 12/12.

No light leaks as well?? Something is off if after a couple weeks of flowering 12/12 you dont see hairs or balls regardless of sativa. Maybe genetics?

I've got the same thing going on but more light and at the lower spectrum (2300K). They have been vegging for almost 2 weeks now (after 48 hours darkness) and 0 sign of buds! Leaves look healthy- lots of space between nodes. Weird. Never had problems with anything like this before. Plants were started from seed at 24 hours light (6500k) for 30 days exactly. Very healthy growth-just no buds starting! T bet these would be beasts outside-Summer! I switched to 18/6 d/l to see if more darkness will help. Subscribing to thread. I'll take some pics.

I have seen something like this before with feminized seeds, which has forever turned me off to the whole idea. Also looks heat stress related, what are you temps/humidity? What generation is the hermie? I have seen this same thing in hermies grown from other hermies seeds.

Good luck.

My setup has good ventilation and humidity levels are pretty well controlled. Had several successful grows with this setup (never tried this strain) in past. I think they are just taking their time in the absence of real light. I have 12/ 42 watt CFL's at 2300K on them now. Temps got a little low for 2 nights as my space heater crapped out but that didn't really mess with them too much. Total darkness at night- been at 12/12 for 11 days now and this is where I'm at. I hope they fill in like I think they will. I'm just worried they will be 12 feet tall when they're done! What a problem to have eh? Peace.
