If it's young it's not unusual for new leaves to only have three parts. If you know it's marijuana you're growing, then don't worry about it.

Hiya California Grown welcome to the site.

Your plant is a reasonably healthy Cannabis plant. Cannabis fan leaf fingers change as the plant grows older and matures. It starts out with 1 finger leaf, then the next pair of leaves will have 3 fingers, the next ones 5, 7, 9 and 11.

Looks like you've got a little Mg or N deficiency on one of your lower leaves - you need to keep an eye on that and correct it if it gets worse.

Which node or stage of leaves (5, 7, 9 11) will you usually see the sex of the plant first?

To see sex you've got to veg upto 8 weeks before you may see it, if you start flowering it can take anywhere upto 2 weeks to see sex.

Thanks. I appreciate the important information.

After about 2 weeks in flowering, where do you look for the sex of the plant? Is it usually on every node or does it show up on a particular node most of the time? I just wanted to make sure I am looking in the right area during this flowering stage, because I did not want to make a mistake as a newbie and pull a female and leave a male by accident. I am sure after the first grow most people can probably tell right away, but not sure if I will make a stupid mistake. Thanks again for any assistance.

o yea the holes in the leaves isnt any bugs or any mg or n deficiency, i just happened to water it this one time and i got a bit of water droplets on the leaves in the morning and i guess the sun burned it up a bit! but i learned from that mistake :(, as for how old they are well i think ide say about 2 months and a half..... im really new to all of this so i dont know wat to do next, all im doing to it is giving it tap water every morning and just let it be i have it outside all day in my balcony and i guess nature is taking care of it.
