I have 4plants in 5 gal dwc, need to split them. Is it ok to just put 1 each in 5 gal dwc with 3inch net pot??

Roots are tangling up, gotta move cause plants are starting to explode.

Thanks 4 help

I'd say it would help anythings got to be better than losing all the plants to a tangled mess of roots good luck

I run one in a 5gal dwc and by the time I'm done there's not even enough room for the roots of even 2 plants. I personally wouldn't suggest going over 1 per bucket, I'd run two but you have to know that the roots will turn into 1 tangled mess and if you have a problem with 1 it's going to effect the other and just cause headaches.

As for the answer, yes it's absolutely okay to put 1 in each 5 gal with a 3 inch net pot.

How about food coloring to tell the difference???

just start your plants in separate containers to begin with, it'll be a pain in the ass to thread roots through a 3" net pot...

Food colouring? You meant, like the kids science experiment with celery? I don't get it?
