3 gallon grow bags. how ofter to water with fox farm nuitriants!!

im growing in 3 gallon grow bags
im wondering how ofter other growers water ther plants.

and how ofter they water using nuitriants.
im using fox farm and it says water with nuitriants only twice a week.


im not using eny kind of water ketch tray under the bags the water just goes right out to the drain can i use a tray and catch the water and let the bottom of the bag sit in the water tray.


im also using fox farm ocean forrest soil with a little bit of expanded clay. mixed with the soil

Watering depends on numerous things i.e. heat in room, strain tolerance, air movement, soil amendments and crystals, silica use?, etc........

Nutrients depends on strain more than anything, but also flushing occasionally or not, light intensity, heat in room, healthy or not, enzyme use?, soil buffers, etc.....

Many things are the same for both. In my usual main strain, Sweet Seeds "Green Poison", I fertilize with every watering. In my secondary strain, Chocolate Rain, I fertilize every other watering and at a lower ppm. I water until I see water come out the bottom of the pot, then stop. It just runs on to the floor and eventually dries... so, to answer, I use 4 gallon pots and water every 2-3 days....

I used 3 gal bags on my last go around, with FF complete lineup. Had to water every 36 hours, and I used nutes every other water. Flushed at week 1 of flowering and week 6. I had to water frequently for two reasons--> firstly, I only gave them 1/3 of a gallon of water. Secondly, my temps were 82-84 at day and 78-80 at night. It was just too hot in my last setup, air cooled hoods should help resolve this issue moving forward.
