I've got.plants in veg right now w alternate nodes...its a maturity thing not a flowering thing....
Well good for you Mr Vega. In any case 2, 3, or 4 branches or leaves per site, originating from the primary stem is still opposite branching. Actually it is whorled branching structure to get technical, once you get past two opposing growth structures.

Yeah and it is a maturity thing, kind of like flowering is a maturity thing.

This looks like a really small plant to flip to flower, assuming it must be a cabinet grow or something?

It's also a pretty small plant to top, how old is it?

Generally you want to get all your training done, and let them grow out for a couple weeks before switching to flower. So to be honest it's a little smallish to flip, and I can't see that topping is going to get you much of anywhere. It's a wee tiny plant, you'll do good to get a finger sized nug off of it.

it has been pot bound a little too long and it is about 1 month old. also it is about 10 inches tall. It is also crossed with an Auto

If u top now it'll stretch into two dinky tops that woulda been bttr as one big one....just let it go n top a week to 10days before flip next time

Haha i was indeed wondering about this phenomenon im at my first gro and 40 days into veg with 4 plants and i noticed that two of them are producing 3 leaves aswell.. Excited to see what they bring to the table..
