I think 82-85 is ideal.... My room is 79-80 and I feel if it was warmer I'd get better growth. I can't say fact, but I know 84 is really good IME, LEDs also.
yield wise, going from 2 to 3 .. its all dependent on strain at that point. I use to run 3 in my 4x8 tent, and with a 6" ffan extracting and a 6" fan bringing air in .. and venting said air into my attic ... it was still 87-89 f and that was me running them at night. I am also so cali so that might have something to do with it.
Most surprising part was I added the other 315w for a total of 3 now and it didn’t even change the heat inside the tent. Maybe it’s vecause I have two 6” fans with individual carbon filters. Crazy! I don’t even use ac. So the extra watts will make the terps better? I’d just like a bountiful harvest with top shelf buds
No, the type of lights your using will make better terps, why did you choose cmh then ? Also your carbon filters have nothing to do with your temp, the air comming in and how much you have going out is what makes that.
I picked cmh for quality and how they compare to mh/hps and how lower wattage cmh can keep up with high wattage hids.
the uv they give off is what helps bring out terp profiles.
