2x 23w CFL

i have about 4 bag seed and wanna see if i can get anything grow. I germinated one already and just started the other three. i have grown before so i have no issues doin germinating and all. i have never used cfl's before. Can i use 2 23w CFLs just to start the seedling? is this not enough heat? not enough power? i will eventually get some y adapters for my lights and get bigger cfls but i wanna know if im okay for now?

for seedlings you should be fine .... what temp rating are they??? u want high temp ratings like 6500k for vegin.. and lower k ratings like 2500k rating to flower with .

should the lights be close while its still a seed (germinated seed) in the ground or far away and then close once it pops?

You don't even need light until you see green. Then when it is very little I'd keep the light back 6-8 inches. When it gets a couple sets of leaves it can go in to 2 inches.
