2nd year growing 2018 crop

I decided to go with 7 plants this year. I have 3 blueberry(regular), 2 OG Kush(regular), and 2 GSC(feminized). Pictures are at 7 weeks old.

Hopefully one of the blueberry turns out to be a male so I can cross my plants for a slightly different Crop next year. The plants pictures will be in the same order as above.

Very cool, growing OG Kush as well, from MSNL. Will be interesting to compare. They look great!

Well we should have very similar results other than the difference in our technique and Nutrients; as my seeds also are from MSNL. I have super cropped them and using Mega Crop from @GreenleafNutrients

Hi MadMel,

How's the Mega Crop working out? I usually grow organic, but I'm thinking of trying aeroponics, and this seems perfect.

So far the Mega Crop is working great! But I won't know for sure until I harvest, lol. Seriously though, I TRIED to feed too much to my seedlings and it didn't hurt them. This was using the "normal ratio" for vegging. The seedlings just took it in stride though.

My autoflower plants (not pictured) are doing really good IMO. Waiting for them to start flowering now.

I'm feeding my outdoor plants 5g/gallon of Meg Crop twice a day and see no burning yet. Have to water them twice a day because of the heat. May try upping the Mega Crop up to 6g/gallon in a few weeks and see what becomes of them.

I have gone as high as 5.8g/ gallon and no problem whatsoever. I believe that if you have a strain that thrives on high nutrients, like GSC, you could go with 6g/gallon easily.

I'm growing Critical and Sour Diesel.

I'm loving Megacrop for my outdoor coco coir garden. My cannabis plants are super happy and my tomato, cucumber and pumpkin plants are absolutely loving it. Currently feeding at 4g/gal with 1g/gal cal-mag.

I only add cal-mag to my GSC plants. Not sure how your veggies will respond, but you can increase your Mega Crop for your cannabis. I don't think that you would regret it.

Thx for the kind words about my plants. However I have recently been too aggressive with my supercropping and have broken off a few tips. No worries though, they just become clones! lol

I'll let the plants tell me if they want more. So far, they're happy. The concentration will probably go up as they get larger.

The additional cal-mag is due to being in coco coir. Small price to pay for how amazing plants grow in it.

I've grown in coco before, but I didn't know what I was doing and it spiraled out of control.

This time, I've got a better idea what I'm doing. The main reasoning for what seems like a low feed amount is that I feed every time I water, which is about every other day right now. It's a different idea to soil, where you feed heavier at decreased frequency, but it works really well.

Just for fun, I'd recommend trying coco coir sometime. You'll be astonished at how fast your plants grow. Check out this root mass that developed in 8 days:



That's from one of my pumpkin plants. It literally broke soil (coco) around 20 days ago and has outpaced a plant I've had in ground for over a month. Crazy stuff.

Bummer! One of my OG Kush is flowering and is a male. Maybe I will move it and collect some pollen to possibly use later making some seeds.

How are the rest of your plants doing?

My whole garden is doing great with the Megacrop feed. I haven't needed to adjust feed amounts yet and everything is trucking right along. It's really a great one part fertilizer.

Too many male plants. I have 3 blueberry and I think all of them are males. Looks like I will only have the GSC and 1 OG Kush as female.

I don't get enough rain right now. Having to really watch them close to see them stay watered. Had to back off on the Mega Crop. I finally managed to give all but the GSC a little nutrient burned. I used 6 gallons in a week of almost steady rain. This is too much!! Even with the steady rain .

6 gallons between 8 plants and 3 clones from my GSC. Too much. I was worried that the rain was washing away the Mega Crop. Boy, was I wrong.

Sorry to hear that...about the males and the nute burn. It's a fine line to walk between feeding them enough and too much.

I don't get any rain where I'm at this time of year, save for thunderstorms bringing tiny showers, so it's all hand watering if I want green anything.

We're almost on the home stretch...Oct/Nov can't come soon enough for me.

I MIGHT have a female blueberry. Kinda hard to say for sure.

Isn't it a good bit early for photoperiod plants to start flowering? 8 weeks will put it around the beginning of September. 10 weeks, around the middle of the month. But if they flower from now until October, I am in for a helluva good harvest from the female plants that I do have.

Yeah I waited until I knew for sure with the 1 OG Kush male that I got rid of. I was talking somewhere else and I was told that the heat stress could be causing the early flowering. Really hot, really humid the last couple of weeks or more.

My two autoflower plants have the opposite problem. I should already be harvesting and I still haven't seen a single flower yet.

My GSC is just putting along and doing great. I supercropped the hell out of the older plant, and tried getting clones off the younger plant. The jury is still out on whether they are a success or a failure.

Just watering the plants when they need it. No nutrients for a bit. I really need a slow, steady, gentle rain for at least 5 hours. This would help everything around here.

I guess I should post some new pictures. I'll just have to get some first. Probably the next day or so.
