2nd Opinions needed!

So this is my 1st grow, 1st post.. i've reading and studying basically trying to do all my homework before actually starting and things have gone pretty good so far until recent. im in the bloom stage, i shifted to 12/12 approx 7weeks ago but no buds have even started to show. i had some pH problems 2weeks ago (my meter broke and was inaccurate ddnt need to be calibrated it simply gave random readings) anyway i changed the water and here we are.. my question am i being paranoid or should it take a few more weeks to show actual buds forming??

Plants- Two Purple Cream kush from seed
Method- DWC hydro
Light- 1200w cfl + two 48w LEDS (on/off is 12/12)
Stage- i vegged for 2 months (for more yield) and am currently approx 7weeks into bloom
they r in a 6x3 mylar tent

i cant upload pics for some reason i click choose file and nothing happens il try a different computer later today or tomorrow but if u can help with the info given its greatly appreciated also any insights or recommendations as im new to this would b great as well.. thanks!

you should be seeing buds by now mate have you got any light leaks...that will stop the plant from going into flower

It sure does sound like light leaks. Most of my plants have started budding in 10-15 days. Something has gone wrong my friend.

thats exactly what my suspicion was light leaks but its in the tent all zipped up but i recently thought of that and need it 2b dark to check also must move the plants so i can fit in there lol.. il definetely check it tonite when its lights out..

if that is the issue its ok still right? nothing too damaging aside from lost time?

check your timmer dude maybe your not getting exactly 12/12...just a thought?

if it is a light leak just patch it up and you should be fine and as amrcngror said check your timer is ok

thanks every1 for the quick responses! n i will for check for any leaks later today.. and yes i thought it might b the timer as well that was actually my 1st worry but im here when it goes on and off but thanks for all the input every1.. very helpful

You just lost a little time as they vegged a bit longer. Hope they don't hermie on you.

When the lights are on in the tent, if you can see the lights from the zipper coming out, then you can bet that light is getting in. Check your whole tent to see if light is coming out from inside the tent, or if you actually have a 12/12 light cycle. Your plant should have been showing buds weeks ago.
