i cut and harvested buds look a lil loose but i figure thats cause i used cfls i hung dried and put them in jars but but it smells like wet grass kind of but when i squeeze the bud i get a good smell so in a week or 2 do you think it will start to smell good ? I guess i ll pick a new strain and buy 600 watt hps light and start over

Its completely normal for them to smell "planty" at this stage. The smell gets better after a week or two in jars. How much did it weigh up to in the end?

Generally you pay for what you get. Beware of expensive knock offs and gimmicks when buying nutrients. I KNOW that these three product lines work and they are recommended nutrient companies. I will be trying out the "House and garden" line on my next run. Its expensive but highly concentrated. I currently use 20ml of Canna Rhyzotonic to 10 liters (250ml@$25 =125 liters = 20c per L). H & G Roots Excelurator 3ml to 10 liters (250ml@$99 = 750 liters = 13c per L). I also love using superthrive through veg. Its great stuff.

Check out ebay for cheap HID light setups. IMO Don't waste your time with anything else less than 400 w. You can put a new HPS kit (bulb, shade, ballast) together for around $120 and a MH kit for around $100. Here in sunny "Kyrgyzstan " a lot of people order hydro equipment and nutrients from Discount hydroponics on ebay. I browse at hydro stores then buy online.
