Sorry for long time without updates. Internet issues.

So, here's where I am so far.

Big Bud is doing well, been flowering since 1/6/09 and is getting close. It does have a weird issue I've just noticed. A good part of it's main cola bud turned yellow and dried out. Everything around it is growing well but that one part is dry and yellow all the way to the core. I've tried to get a few shots of it, but it's really hard to tell with the HPS making everything yellow.

Another good shot of the whole plant

Having the flash on really brings out the buds!

Now, here is where I tried to get shots of the problem area in the main cola bud..

I'm sorry, I kind of jumped around. First of all nice grow!! I have a ? about the Dutch Passion BB. What week flowering are u in? Do u see any trichome production?
I'm in week 5 and some of my plants hairs are turning red, but I don't have one trichome on the whole plant. Let me know what u think... Thanx!

One of my blueberries is in the 5th week of flowering and it is showing some trichs. The hairs are still white. I'll try to get a close up of it for you. I think the other blueberry I have is in 4th week and last I checked, it wasn't showing much thichome production. I'll take a look at that girl tomorrow and let you know.

So, big bud has been flowering since 1/6/09 and it's getting close to harvest I think. I'm hoping about 2 weeks till I cut her down. Let me know what you guys think. I'll probably start her on plain water with the next feeding.

Here are some pics of the whole grow..
(sorry about the sideways ones..i am too stoned to fix or care)

The whole grow

Big Bud

only thing i had for size comparison..I'll try to get some macro mode shots too when the HPS is off.

Blueberry in teh background.

Blueberry.. went into flower a few weeks after big bud.

the other blueberry (not pictured) turned hermie and grew some balls and seeds. Pulled it out of the grow room..I'm gonna have to chop that thing. too bad.

Here is the lanky power skunk. Tried to stack teh pics to get the whole plant in.. don't know if that worked worth a shit.

man, that's a tall bitch!

Watered once about 4-7 days (I let the plant start to get droopy before I really soak it).

Started nutes at 1/4 strength on week 4...later bumped up to 1/2 strength Fox Farms nutes according to their feeding schedule.

pH adjusted tap water (after adding the nutes) to about 6.5.

I used Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil.

Good luck!

I have my mother plant in soil but my clones are currently in an "Atami Wilma system" Im using ionic nutes PHed @ 6.2, humidity in the 30s & temp at 24-28C ish. The leaves always seem a little droopy I hope they pick up soon. Thanks for the advice.

cant help myself have to comment. in your photo posts day 28 one can clearly see in the lower left part of the picture a yellowing browning leaf. the rest of the plant appears fine and the new growth seems unaffected but it seems that the bottom oldest leaves are effected by problems first. i think its a magnesium defficency. and this seems consitent with past results for the timeframe. at about 30 or so days ffof has depleted all magnesium as i can tell.one can also see this problem progress up the plant as it shoots up in the subsequent pictures i'm sure it is strain specific as to how much magnesium the plant requires. as soon as you start to see it brown up and yellow like picture day 28 add an ounce of epsom salts to a gallon of water on one and see if it goes away. the spots i think are uclerations from the foliar spraying but could also be something else. i'm sure people will chime in and call bullshit but i'm not suggesting dosing all the plants just one of the ones thats affected and see if it gets better. good show though. fun to watch these diaries watching people forever turn there back on the blackmarket and be discretely self sufficient...

this is probably why the problem went away for awhile when you repotted and then came back in the second half of flowering as the fresh soil had sufficient magnesium in it.

Thanks for the advice and I appreciate you explaining it thoroughly! I'll definitely give that a shot and see if it makes a difference.

Ok, so I was up this morning early enough to get to the plants right before the HPS turned on and managed to snap a few closeups of the Big Bud girl.

I'm thinking a week or 2 left. Any thoughts?
