that looks way to big t be a spider mite. and sr. is correct, mites won't live in soil. it's to humid in the soil for them, they would explode. how big is the lip on that bowl? 1/4"? I'm not sure that most camera's could even see a mite. They must like something in your soil though. maybe the next time you water them, put a couple drops of anti bacterial dish soap in with your water. that should chase em away.
More like a 1/8 in. That's a macro shot with 2x zoom (7 mega pixels)

I gotta know, lol!

Look at the first post

Anyway... It's possible what you have is spring tails. They come in to feed on decaying organic matter. I actually had them too...

The best way to tell is pull one out, and touch it with a pin or something.. if it JUMPs or SPINGS out then you have spring tails.. They aren't BAD... they are actually supposedly a sign of good soil health.... personally I just dont like bugs...

YOU CAN fill up your soil with SAND! Get some CLEAN sand, bake that shit in the oven for a few hours at like 220F if you have to disinfect it... (we dont want to add bugs, or larvae to our soil)

But the sand being a few inches tall on top of your soil, makes it really difficult for critters to live in...

spring tails:

They eat like fungus, and mold... If you are over watering, this will produce *food* for them, and they will thrive... This isn't necessarily bad, I'd just rather not have them.

Don't just immediately dismiss your pests as GOOD though, keep researching.

Thanks man! I actually started a new thread and now I've heard spring tails and root aphids, and it seems aphids are way worse, so I hope spring tails..

Thanks for the right link, I don't know what the fuck I was lookin' at lol...

I've been treating with neem oil... Clean sand is a great idea, do you think that it would work better than diatomaceous earth??

continue to do so with the oil. and yes, sand works just as good and much cheaper.
Awesome, giving another dose of neem tea to the ladies tonight and picking up some clean sand in the morning..

You guys are fuckin' great, thanks!!!

make sure your not over doing the neem

IF you can even over do it... i've never poured neem on like crazy so I could find out though

root aphids sound like it could be it.. could be why your yellowing too, if certain sections of your plant start to droop in random places, your roots may be getting eaten.... not to scare you  just a heads up... that will take a while of having your problem un checked though...

I'm sure youll be fine.

Thank you sir I just took some fresh pics and watered with neem tea...

I don't think I went crazy...

Bottle suggests 2 Tbls to a gallon... I did 2 1/2 Tbls to a gallon and fed the whole gallon between the 5 plants in flower.

Crazy! I've never heard of a fem. seed being male...

Anyway my bubba kush is 2 seeds I got from a half oz of the stuff...

Both seeds were females...

I was kinda hoping for a male, but at least now I know 100% of my clones are 100% female...

It has it's own peace of mind...

I'm happy for now, gonna keep it going... I will eventually start a new strain...

I have Northern lights and amnesia haze seeds just waiting...

But that's probably a few months from now, I have my hands full with these 4 strains.
