2nd attempt

This is my 2nd attempt my 1st having ended in tragedy about ten days ago i had grown 3 photos for 2 and half month before flowering gor 3 wk when my extractor failed with a 600w hps in a 2x2x5 tent it was onl 10-15 min before i noticed next day they sprouted balls!

After a few days of stomping about and watching all my work drying up before my eyes and trawling through forums seeking info and advice i decided to chop them back and stick them back on veg in a seperate tent i picked all balls off and they never grew any more so il give them a chance to reveg and started some autos

24 hrs and 3 of the 4 seeds i sewn have started 1 Royal jack auto 2 Royal Bluematic are out the gate and potted in rot pots i know a lot dont like them but i find them ok and ive read autos dont like transplant so this seemed a better idea

What a difference a day makes

24 little hours

All my bits have arrived clay pebbles bust bag off amazon £4.50, and a 250w metal halide bulb i did the fill grow under a 600w hps last time but im trying to save a bit of elec this time and ive been told 250 plenty for 2x2 area so the girls are in their forever home!

Day 2 in the tent 75 degrees rh 55% 18 /6 light sched not much to do until lst now

Day 3 the girls lookin a bit hungry so hydro silicon, cocoa+b mixed at 1/8th strength i forgot to add when i prepared the smartpots i watered it with a mild dose of blackstrap an mycorhiza to get the good bacteria firing and fed

Day 4 under lights 2nd true leaf a good 5mm long nut nice compact plants no stretch at all with this metal halide well impressed.

Nxt leaf showin when does any1 top ? 4th or 5th internode?

1 of the Bluematic seems to have falen behind a touch but other 2 have gone boom i fimmed all 3 today get it done early as poss from what i read, ordered bigger tent today gonna veg under 2x250 mh and flower under 2x 400w hps ive got the 3 autos 3 photos on veg and ive just put a ww auto in a wet paper towel and baggy adictive this growin lark innit lol

Had a bad few days i fooked up makin dinner sumwer and gave them a nute OD of some sort any1 know which? I think blackstrap if thats poss any1? Am pretty sure thats what i overdid anyway fingers crossed were over the worst of it jacks gotba scar or 2 but she seems to be improvin new tent came today so ive got 3 auto 3 photo that nearly got cooked in flower its a good job new tent has come cos i panic n set 3 more when we had the OD episode amnesia auto and white widow auto have both popped just anotha jack auto to pop if she duz that is ive already had 1 blank out the pack.

thought id better update, its been a funny few wk some ups and downs firstly i noticed growth slow down- not good! a) i had topped the pots up because they were a bit low putting more coco in up to the 1st leaf it was too much and smothering them b) i was struggling getting my temps in the sweet spot im havin to run my extractor 15 min on 45 min off to keep temps up i also had to cut some 1ft squares of thermoboard to stand on because the cold from the garage floor was cooling the rootball too much causing some kind of lockout but since righting these wrongs we have explosive growth boom!!

Nothing much to tell all plodding along nicely, the three eldest girls are doin their thing shortys in full flower she didnt have much of a stretch i think because i stressed her by putting her pot touching the radiator i transplanted her because there was steam coming out her pot! but the other 2 have stretched considerably i thought autos are meant to be small plants!!!
