2ft 2bulb t5 for 2 mother plants

Have a grow room at another location where we keep around 10 plants going. Were out of available room so I was going to do another grow and get the clones ready for the 10 plants....

will a 2 ft 2 bulb t5 fixture with 2 6500k bulbs work well with two mothers or is the 4 bulb fixture a necessity? Looking to pull between 4-6 clones off of each mother that's it.

also what watt bulb would be best for this small of a setup.

All you're attempting to do is keep the mothers alive and in veg so the 2 bulb will work...the growth will just be slower with less lumens...g/l

Yeah I'm just looking to take 12 clones total. I'll then most likely let the mothers die and then use this fixture to do the clones in a cloning dome. You think I'll be able to get by with a simple 2 bulb fixture then? Growth will just be slowed down slightly?

I'd suggest you not let the mother die before the clones are well rooted and growing nicely.

I've use a 2ft, 2 bulb fixture for a yr or so and they work ok, just slower growth as said, I now have a 2ft, 4 bulb fixture and there's deff a big differents, best get the 4 bulb fixture, you won't be sorry.

btw: I believe each 2ft bulb is 24W and puts out 2000 lumens.

Yes, they are.

Yeah I've only had one mother plant before. Pulled 10 clones and they are doing excellent. Strong roots and great responses to fimming, topping and supercropping. I'll looking to the price differences for the 2/4 bulb fixtures.....

I've never done lst before. Supercropping worked excellent for me so far, I managed to pull 3.5 oz dry off my first ever grown plant...

what do you guys prefer, lst or supercropping ?

I use LST for the volume in my small perpetual grow but that's what works for me...I use a HO 2ft 4 bulb for the babies...g/l

I tried both, currently in my second (indoor) grow, the super cropping was started by accident - lol, hadn't secured my fan well and it fell on one plant, a perfect break/bend, didn't hurt the plant but super cropped a couple of branches (perfectly i must say - lol) so i did another - on purpose, then lst'd all 3 plants, the one which was super cropped and lst'd is the biggest (wider, more bud potential areas, bushier) of 2 Blueberry's from the same mother. I'll likely do both next round.

I finisned an indoor grow time before(1 og kush for 150gr dried bud),now heading to build a grow room from 3 seeds(2 wwbb-1 supercheese).Im gonna veg three of them as "mother plants" in 40 days(under a 400w MH and 3 23W cfl for every girl) to take clones(maybe 4-5 clones per mum,is that ok for the total 12-15 clones ?).After that should I use serverals of t5 and 150w MH to produce clones from mom ! Just let me know ur ideas,thanks,cheers n peaces
p/s : My mums will always be ready to get clones after 25 days,I got 3 separated spaces to grow.One for veggin,one for flowerin, one for mums n clones standin on to wait to go to veg room again.Force to get about 1.5 kilograms(wet weight or maybe hangin up for 3-4 days)
